I think most of them were already present at the Sudirman Cup last year right? Unlike the korean ws; I don't see any of them in last year's Sudirman Cup and only one at the 2008 edition who is now WS3 that didn't need to be played.

Those calls were bad and very subjective....to me there were ok !:)

The one call against SS in MS 2 was clearly a fault as shuttle was hitted before past the net.....;)

To be fair the newcomers from Korea were better athletes and badminton players and thoroughly deserved their victory. Also Korea was anchored by the the 2 veteran Lees.
I think LYB was so confident he fielded all his young team thinking they could deliver but they did not. But it is true to say that it is also a good time to expose the youngters, better to lose now than regret later.
See how other teams unlike China,Japan or Korea still depend on uncles to play for them and see how these uncles are bashed.

I don't think so. The shuttle was hit after it went past the net, though it seems that CCTV5 tried hard to make it look like the other way around ;)

Not that it would change the outcome...

To be fair, INA did very well in the final. It's just CHN did a little bit better. It's a great final. People from both countries should be happy.

Before the match started. LYB came by to INA team..chatted and congratulated INA team...for some reasons,,,LYB is always nice toward INA team..he even mentioend ot reporters that only one nation can challenge CHINA is Indonesia ( hm..surprise..I thought South Korea is more appropriate)..Fu mentioned that he always finds a challenging to play INA as INA has a unique way to play double...

In football term, INA (perhaps to some extent MAS too) is like the South American whereas CHN and KOR are the Europeans.
I see INA and MAS players tend to put emphasis a bit more on technical and creativity, whereas CHN and KOR are more speedy and powerful.

China has won the 2010 Thomas Cup again

    .
Again China has won the 2010 Thomas Cup. Congratulations !!! :):):)

Since the inception of this Thomas Cup event, only 3 nations have won it, namely Malaysia, Indonesia and China.

Let us hope that other nations can catch up in this sport, thereby making our Badminton more interesting. internationally.

INA players tried their best. I can see that especially Simon Santoso. I really thought that Simon can pull it throught.

MAS players on the other hand played like rookies with no fighting spirit except for WCH. Even if they have beaten Japan, the final outcome would still be the same.

Not surprising since the top Chinese talents of long ago came from Indonesia, and they helped improve the training standards in China.

Even Lin Dan waved and smiled at the Indonesian team from the Chinese Team bus, we were with the Indonesian team waiting for ours ...... :D

Anyway, no doubt that China are deserved winners, but I still feel bad about Kido/Setiawan being fooled countlessly by those flick serves in game 1 ....

You can see for example that Simon used some tricky shots from the net to deceive CJ. Sony does it sometimes but Taufik is the master of tricky shots.
