Anyone tried Mizuno shoes ? Reviews ? I am intrested in these ones above.
Basically, I have abandoned Yonex, and am trying other brands, Mizuno ones I am intrested in, the above look good, but any reviews for them? Or any other mizuno shoes ?
They are the same price as my current shows (SHB101MX) if they are similar in quality I will try them.
    Thanks

can't get the link to work, they are called "Mizuno Wave Fang" and they are on shuttle house, but the link I have tried to copy and paste by hand but it didn't work.

yes the first one is the one I mean. What sort of price is the second one ? Are they similar price wise ? I want to have a change from yonex, and I like the look of the Mizuno Wave Fang. When you get a chance to use them could you give me a review please ? Thanks.

I have both Yonex SHB 101M and Mizuno Mastercross XX2 (previous version of Mizuno Wave Fang). I do like my SHB 101M more than my Mastercross XX2 because it seems that sole of my mizuno is narrower than my yonex. But my mizuno is seem to be lighter than my yonex.

oh yeah, forgot to mention I have rather wide feet, currently have 9.5UK SHB101MX, (although I could fit into UK9 I went for the bigger size)
Durability is the main issue here, I looked at my SHB101MX today after training, and thought to myself, What ! I have only had these 4 months, (bought January 22nd to be precise) and they already wreked they have about 2 months left in them, MAX. So I have 2 months to find new shoes!

    Dex,

The EEE or 3E means the wideness of the shoe. I am not quite sure about the equivalent but if one wears a Yonex SHB-101/101 for instance, that too is also a 3E wideness.

The higher the number, the wider the shoe / lower number, narrower the shoe.
    -------------------------

    LD,

The Wave Fang SP cost more than the Wave Fang (not sure why) - the only difference is that SP is a 2E wideness.

I am very interested in the Mizuno Wave Fang, what is the durability like of the Mizuno shoes you have tried Matt ? The Mizuno Wave Fang are similar priced to SHB101 and if they are more durable, I will be even more interested

I've used it for about 3 months now. The condition is relatively good. The reason why I switched over to Mizuno shoes is that Yonex shoes does not have enough foor support for the foot I have which the Mizuno's have a better design for that.

Mizuno indoor court shoes. i used to tried before, very durable, comfort.
the new technology "wave" even makes more better. i using it now about 2 weeks, wearing 3 times on court.
1st impression is, not bad to have this "foot feel" with such price.

Do any of the Mizuno shoes have round toe design? Looks to me like all their models are the pointy toe type.

Personally, i swear by Mizuno badminton shoes. I've been using them since switching from almost 8 years ago. My current pair is a 1.5 year old (Nov'08) wave smash SG. I average about 7 hours a week and the shoes are still going strong. My last pair of wave gate lasted me 2+ years -- I got bored of it and bought the wave smash.

thanks for this information, my SHB101mx look like they will last maybe 8 months MAX so I think investing in Mizuno Shoes will be a good idea.
