Disputable call @ 16-13. It should have been 16-14.

MS - Sony Dwi Kuncoro (INA) vs Boonsak Ponsana (THA) 50-50
Sony took 3 games against youngster Tanongsak in a jittery opening round match. However, he cruised past Joachim Persson and was taken to a tough test but eventually upset the world No.1 Lee Chong Wei in the quarter finals. He also survived P. Kashyap without dropping a game. Might this be a great comeback after suffering a back injury in the Thomas Cup final? Boonsak also did commendably well, he was stretched to three games by Gao Huan but cruised through Hu Yun and Dicky Palyama. He also did well to defeat Peter Hoeg Gade yet again since his Malaysia Open victory. Can he get his 2nd Singapore title? A 50-50 match. I'm rooting for Boonsak Ponsana all the way, kinda like him.

Yup, they were uncles of above 30 for sure. Really good combination of play maker by Tony with good smashes from Bach.

Not quite as they did not win anything big at home. In fact they won a few lesser titles overseas this year including the recent India Open.
But the home crowd did some marvellous cheering to bring the pair to live again after their disastrous opening game. With the second game won their confidence level rose and they really matched the more experienced and seeded Taiwanese opponents in the final game with some thrilling exchanges before they won a close fight.

Hope they will continue to fight hard against the much higher ranked Koreans in tomorrow's final.

Yes, Boonsak is like Spore's adopted son.Tomorrow when the INA fans will be out in full force to support Sony and INA XD, the local crowd will get behind Boonsak. There's a good chance Boonsak will win and DEN XD has an advantage over INA XD, so INA may end up with no title. Imagine that!
I'm not surprised that SIN WD defeated TPE WD. TPE WD is good but not consistent. There's a high chance SIN WD will clinch the title tomorrow.

Erm guys, you all know what the crowd was chanting when supporting the indonesian team? It sounds to me like "Ah Bi Xing" or " Ar Bi Sit"... any idea?
