it gets better if we look at the semi-final lineup:

    1x India
    2x Taiwan
    1x Singapore
    1x USA
    1x Thailand
    1x Denmark
    2x Indonesia
    1x Korea

this must have been the most diverse SS ever.

..c'mon guys, just 6 more pages to go til page 20...
or should we start the S'pore FT import discussion again??...;)
    ..you meant the Finals lineup..:p

Yes, indeed, it's the most diverse SS Finals lineup ever. Actually, prior to this, the 2008 S'pore Open SS owned the most diverse Finals lineup (7 countries). But what's even more impressive in that edition was there were more CHN players participating in comparison to this yr.

Who knows, with CHN's absence in the upcoming Indonesian Open, the most diverse SS Finals lineup record could be shattered..

Well China had Lu Lan and Li Xuerui in the WS fray atleast. None of them are pushovers. Infact Lu Lan is the world champ if I am correct.
Never mind, getting such a diversified field in any sport is great for that sport.
I was amazed to see badminton getting so much attention on Indian media (when WOrld Cup Football and Asia Cup Cricket is also being organised). I remember, when Saina won the Indonesian SS title, there was so little media coverage, badminton fans sent hell lot of hate mails to Indian TV channels. This time we had Singapore SS being telecast live.
I think this is quite an achievement (for Saina and for Badminton in general).:)

When sony vs boonsak,as usualy the annoying fanatic ina fans keep yelling in-do-ne-sia,then make me feel awesome the comentator said:'Thats what we got next week in senayan'

then the fanatics keep yeeling 'yeahhh'when the shuttle is on sony ,and 'wuuuuhh' when it is on boonsak and repeatedly wuuh yeah wuuh yeah until s0ny won. Then the comentator say again 'oh my god!its indonesian, hahaha, lets see it more next week in Senayan,Jakarta..

    IN-DO-NE-SIA!!!

    WUUUH..YEAHHH...WUUUH...YEAHH...

Actually, I kinda like the In-do-ne-sia chant and the rhythm. I just can't stand the Wuuh and Yeahh among all fans.
