Yeaaaaaah, done, well done Uncle Wong! congrats, that was a great show of spirit some of the youngsters should watch in their lessons! - as well as your team mates LOL
Uncle Choong Han has a better experience in badminton... Alam did it well, as he played from Qualification Round.
Awesome, uncle Wong! I am so happy that you never gave up! You deserved your win! 20-22; 21-19; 21-17 Looks like Hoon/Ong will be the first casualty for MAS instead! ...
But he is not that young and won India GP 2 weeks ago , so I think the spirit makes the difference, anyway - that simply was Uncle Wong as we know and as we love him
In India GP 2 weeks ago, Alamsyah beat Anup Shridar (seeded 5) in 2nd R, beat Bhat Arvind (seeded 4) in QuarterFinal, beat Anand Chetan (seeded 1) in SF, and grabbed the title after winning the FINAL MATCH beating Gurusaidutt (seeded 7).

What about Uncle Wong's chance vs Wan Ho Shon? New name for me as Yunus was this morning- good sign I hope LOL
Pretty low, about as low as 15%. And the 15% includes Shon Wan Ho going wacky like last week and how he lost to Guru... but not that I think WCH has a good chance to beat Guru anyway. I think he's gonna go out of the second round, but I just feel happy for him that he managed to overcome his first round...after so long. Hoon/Ong ruins the perfect day for Malaysia as expected. (Although I expected WCH to fall first)
Anyone thinks Guru can beat Tago and LCW to beat Zwiebler - the knight and LCW will meet a new face : Guru? Woah! Not yet for Hoon/Ong... came from a match point down to win 25-23. They were also another match point down at 19-20.
