Maybe they will let us down... mostly after big win, youngsters from Malaysia tend to lose right in the next round. At least they managed to match last year, reaching the semi-finals. Now, must hope they can bring this momentum on.

KKK/TBH was in poor form, or maybe never take their juniors seriously. Now, good wake-up call for them.

    Wow, 21-6... that's a real beating from Alvent/Hendra over Gan/Tan :(
Guess Mak/Tan will meet Alvent/Hendra tomorrow...

The way I see it(just my opinion),it's not about form. Look at the way KKK/TBH play in 2006 & 2007 and compare it to their current play. During 2006/2007, they play with high spirit, hunger and passions(not to mention the better physical appearance->read as not fat). I think somehow their passion in badminton have slowly died in them.

    I also cannot believe it.
What's wrong with KKK/TBH who keep on losing in the early rounds of tournaments to unseeded or lower-ranked opponents.
Are they fully committed when they play?
    Susah lah!

Not really lah..............almost any pair can beat KKK/TBH now.....even the Fuzzy did that so many times !

Wait until they start to beat pairs like LSM/FCM and some korean new pairs, then only congratulate lah...!!! Hope they can, sincerely...!!!

Hmm... I do agree with you. Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong's form I think is worse than their 2007 All-England form. Now, even in Thomas Cup where they played seriously, they also kena thrash by CY/FHF. They still can beat top pairs, but only if they are off-form, except perhaps MB/CM

Well, hopefully Mak/Tan don't get carried away by their win and focus on the next match against Alvent/Hendra. Those two are not easy meat and they will start as the underdogs.

Hmm, yeah. I hope they can focus on the next match and not get carried away with the win.

Now, I want to get some feedback from those at the stadium, maybe nokh88 or Sealman, did KKK/TBH lose the match or did Mak/Tan win it?

I think Tan Kim Her has done Mak/Tan and Goh/Teo a lot of good.
They should keep working harder, to bring more success in the future.

How did you know I was there? KKK broke his racquet at the shaft, TBH killed the shuttle with a smash but the racquet head went into Mak/Tan's court and the point was awarded to Mak/Tan. Score was 17-14, I think. All in all KKK broke 1 racquet and 2 or 3 strings resulting in 4 points lost. I was cheering for the younger pair and this probably raised their game.:D

TWK net play was better than KKK. KKK made quite many errors in the front and TBH smash wasn't very powerful and was returned by Mak/Tan and their defence was better.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Looks like Mak/Tan won the match themselves, taking advantage of KKK/TBH who was playing poorly. :)
