Because the shuttlers needed time to focus on their new partnership, here's the news article :

Indonesian Women’s Doubles Badminton Players Left Out  World Championships

Indonesia will not be represented in women’s doubles at the World Championships in Paris next month, after local badminton officials decided the shuttlers needed time to work on their new partnerships.

Greysia Polii, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari, Meiliana Jauhari and Shendy Puspa Irawati have been excluded from the Indonesian squad for the Aug. 23-29 tournament, as the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) said it was looking to field the shuttlers at the Asian Games in Guangzhou in November.

Greysia had been paired with Nitya and Meiliana with Shendy until the All England Super Series in March when they switched partners.

In the recent world rankings, Greysia and Nitya were ranked No.12 in the world while the Nitya-Meiliana pairing is at No.18. The new partnerships are much lower, though, with Greysia and Meiliana at No.83 and Nitya and Shendy at No.122.

“We decided not to send them to the World Championships so they can focus more on playing with their new partners,” national women’s doubles coach Aryono Miranat said on Friday.

“Playing with new partners means they have to work their way up the world rankings. If they keep on playing with their old partners, that won’t help them to achieve their goal.”

I think it will be useless if Malaysia will continue to send their WD because WPT knee injury and will not be maximal performance as in previous tournaments. Wasting money and energy..
