What happened to Tine Rasmussen? Her name is removed on tournamentsoftware.com. And Zhu Lin now doesn't need to play PQ rounds. Look like Zhu Lin should get 2 GP titles this time easily.
@Dede_Pran haha but its also not guarantee for him to take the tittle in us.. maybe with by attending us open he may entertain his fans there...
Hi, I am in Singapore. Time now is 8.20am. Can someone advise what is the corresponding time now in the US Open?
Bummer for U.S. Open fans. Tine Rasmussen is also a no-show. She has been replaced in the WS draw by Phyllis Chan of Canada
Hey Madbad, Thanks. Hope things are going well with you. And catch up sometime when you are in SIN or MAS.
Quite disappointing that no live-score facility for US Open this year edition, only result updating Previous editions when US Open grade was still GP, it had live-score at ts.com...
I notice all the Korean cuties left Vancouver for home after the Canadian Open. Not a scent of them in the WS or WD draws. Yoo Hyun Young partnering Shin Baek Cheol (seeded #5) in XD is the sole Korean female in the US Open
The Koreans have a tight schedule with the Macau and Chinese-Taipei Open GP Golds coming up in the next 2 weeks.
Actually there is a national university team championship next weekend so all the KNSU players who are not on the national team (and even some who are) will be playing that tournament down in Hwasun. The only one who flew home from Canada and is going to Macau is Sung Ji Hyun.
..there was no livescore during the Qualifying Rd.....they were still in setting up mode...incl. 2 new camcorders, maybe they will broadcast the matches live like Canada Open but through which website server?.. One more thing to share abt the reason behind Taufik's absence.. So, i met a gentleman who also went to the Canada Open and he chatted with Taufik. This is what the gentleman told me (based on Taufik's side of the story). Apparently Taufik's visa, technically, is still valid if he were to use it to come to the U.S.. But he issued it to the U.S. Embassy (for renewal) prior to his trip. But for some reason, one of the staffs gave some kind of an invalid or cancellation stamp on Taufik's visa. I don't know about the timeline between when Taufik got his visa back and finding out abt his visa status, but Taufik apparently either didn't find out about it until the last minute or something else happened just prior to him leaving Indonesia...anyway, for the most part, it looks like the error occurred with the U.S. Immigration side..
