I think......CJ will nail this one. His first WC title. Taufik, however has been in excellent form but I am a little bit afraid of his stamina.

An interesting fact, that i have just remembered. ;)

In the MS final last year, Lin Dan was 5th Seed, and he went on to win, beating Chen Jin in the final.

This year's MS final, Taufik Hidayat is 5th Seed, and he will play Chen Jin in the final.

Is it a sign that both LD and TH were 5th seeds ?it could mean that TH will win !!! :p

    Like i said a useless fact :p

    Sounds good boss!!!
just like in the olympics... whoever beats Gade, goes on to win.
And since 2000 always the bronze goes to the same nation that holds the gold :)

Is it me, or did Chen Jin played a very different game at this Worlds than he usually does? He's way more aggressive and playing a faster game than I usually remember him doing.

In any event, well done! Taufik was clearly outplayed.

    Something very ironic.

At the final stage of the Chinese super league, Lin Dan, Wang Yihan, Xu Chen didn't play for preparing the World Championship. But others, like Chen Jin, Cai Yun, Fu Hai Feng, Wang Lin, Wang Xin, Zheng Bo... all played to the end.

Ironically, Both Lin Dan and Wang Yihan lost early in the WC, while those ran out of gam in the China super league, have been doing pretty well in the WC.

By the way, Chen Jin lost twice to Zhou WenLong in the semi final of the super league, that's the reason none expect him too much for the WC.

good luck next time, both Sony and Simon are decent players. It would be interesting to watch

Simon vs Chen Jin and Sony vs Gade

Only Indonesia, with China have the depth. Malaysia has only LCW while Denamkr Gade
