As a spectator, I must admit I really enjoyed this WC..
The crowd was hot, friendly, very reactive, there was an impressive noise...

Unfortunately, the only badminton equipment shop available was Yonex...

Also the view, even in cat3, was very enjoyable, and the tickets weren't too expensive..

I know only a few of us has made the travel to Paris, but anyway what do you conclude of this WC, in term of the off the court (off the court speaking) ?
    Organization ? Streaming ? Media ? Arena ? Etc....

I think that one was sounded by the organisation since I nver saw the guy with the instrument....:D

Unfortunately, we heard rumors that players have been stolen luggages/laptop/money...in the hotels/airports... That is the bad point of these WC.....

I think the stadium could be a bit bigger on the lounge side. It is too cosy and took a lot of time for people to enter and exit because there was only one entrance and exit opened.

Otherwise, the organization is pretty decent. The booths could be better but that is partially due to the limited space available. The Media side was cramped within the spectator booths. And with Parisian bringing in all that luggage that belongs only in an Aircraft Luggage Hold, it's pretty challenging stuff moving about.

If you could run the program on a proper stadium that has its own compound, that would really be swell.

Anyway Thom_bad, thank you for your hospitality. Sorry we couldn't linkup better but fastdrop and I had limited time and are flying off today. Come to Asia (preferably Indonesia Super Series Premier) if you can. They probably have cheap tickets via KLM.

Thom_bad or anyone else who was there fanning themselves at the stadium,
i recall there was a mention in one of the videos abt players mentioning the air speed/draft being faster from one end of the court to the other. Yet apparently there is no air-conditioning system blowing in the stadium..
Where did the air draft come from??..is there some kind of a fan system blowing??..

I was watching the replays of CY/FHF vs KKK/TBH
I did hear a ton of booing noises from the crowd when the Chinese pair won points and eventually took the title.
Kind disrespectful to the players isn't it?

That wasn't booing sounds, I only heard people booing when Linejudge/Empire error, or Pi Hongyan doing mistakes...
    The crowd was only screaming....

About that trumpet sound I'm sorry I don't have a record of it but I'm sure you will find it on videos :D
The Mexican waves weren't "organized", each time a random group of fans decided to take their chance and at the 3/4th try it works :p
