Thom_bad, you've become a bit of a BC celebrity in the last week or so during the WC. How are you coping with all the requests from the star players to take a pic with you? And are you able to hold off the hordes of cute chicks hounding you for an autograph? Hey at least we got to see a nice pic of you with (former) BC World Champion abedeng and BC Philippines Masters champion, fastdrop. Them's BC bluebloods, you know! Seriously, thanks to you and other BC members who kept us up to date with the goings-on at the WC. Good luck with your move to Caen.
In general, the crowds would mainly support the underdogs, only because they want to see tight matches. With the exception of support to French players, of course. However, once any team reaches the climax of the game, the crowd would clap in unison to show respect. This happened in every match, MD Final included, and even China vs China matches.
Yes, agree.. i should sent it to the organizing comittee of Mas Open SS.. They always played the same songs during interval and match breaks on the final day.. so boring
In a large hall, with different heat and cooling patterns, convection currents can be setup when the hot air rises and cool air descends.
oh yes! i'm very weary of the ''we wail rock you" song already which is played in almost any sports-related events i happen to watch.
More like a compact hall, rather than a large one. But yes, we did get to feel close to New Delhi temperatures at the top of the stands. I was sweating like mad ....... it was cooler courtside and at lower tiers.
