5 more points were offered if PAWing for Sizhuka Uchida . Yes, my picking percentage is usually around 50-50. Sometimes, I PAWed for players with more points offered/given. Sometimes, I PAWed for players whom I think could win. When I PAWed for Tai Tzu Ying in her last match, I was thinking that she was in better form than Sizhuka Uchida; even though 5 more points were offered if PAWing for Sizhuka Uchida. .
You are getting to point. That's what my think about. Anyway, hope to see her making great progress when she's growing up. Not just contrary.
Taiwan does not have a permanent "National Team" infrastructure , TTY is just attending a normal high school. It will be difficult to get the intensive training even she wants to.
2010 Vietnam Open GP: Wonder if TTY was not fit enough? . In the 3rd game, there was quite a big score difference; Tai Tzu Ying 7:21 Gu Juan (Singapore). Wonder if TTY was not fit enough? .
the 1st senior ws she beat from china yesterday the former wc,lu lan it is a great achievement for her hope that she can steal a set from wang xin today,at least
found a fan page of her in facebook. feel free to join and share around http://www.facebook.com/pages/戴資穎-Tai-Tzu-Ying/164965326883996
tai tzu ying reached world number 20 with the age of 16! http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/player.aspx?id=1987&player=141780 congrats! and hope she progress to next round in swiss open
Congratulations to Tai Tzu Ying !!! . Congratulations to Tai Tzu Ying !!! And Inthanon Ratchanok is closely behind (in 24th position). IMHO, TTY and RI should be able to reached the World Top 15 by the end of this year (2011). Looking forward for them to appear in the 2012 London Olympic Games. .
Saw her against Saina in AE. She lost but she certainly has a lot of potential. Good shot maker but lots of errors. If she can have some good training on her footwork the errors will reduce & she will get much better results. Didn't read this thread before I saw her, didn't know she was so young. As others have said she may struggle to step up to the next level, remember Cheng Shao Chieh was very good when she came on the scene, but due to lack of formal & structured training didn't make the progression she could have done.
Tzu Ying won her first Badminton Asia Championships 2011 match against Inthanon Ratchanok,21-19 17-21 22-20 in 56 minutes. There are more information about her for yr ref. http://www.sportz.tw/forumdisplay.php?fid=52&sid=00R08Z
cheng get serious injury after 2005 wc i remember yup, congrats to tai, hopefully she will win the wjc in taiwan this year!
this year, she won against zhu lin, wang xin(today),maria ky last year, she won against lu lan,bae youn joo, salakjit ponsana not even ratchanok had beaten 3 senior ws from china
..so, with those impressive feats, when do you think Tai TY will finally lift at least a GP level winner's trophy, which Ratchanok has already secured in her bagpack?..do you think she'll do it @ this yr's U.S. Open GPG? or Canada Open GP (if she participates)?..
What's that supposed to mean? Isn't it down the that country's national association to decide which tournaments they want to send their players? It looks like TPE badminton association has lots of $$ to send their players everywhere. THA might be more selective.
chinese taipei is club base, like japan its depend on club to send only team or major event coutry BA to invovle
