Frankly WMC has done very well to reach the final, despite her earlier loss in the team event.

Now, being so highly ranked and playing in front of her home fans, Saina will be a huge embarassment if she should lose. Many would have thought she could win in 2 games.

And now Tommy, you should remind yourself to behave better and not to embarass Spore all the time.

Congrats to Saina and India for pipping England to 3rd place.

Congrats too for WMC and the Malaysian squad. Kept her spirit up although it was not to be. If only we could duplicate that same spirit across the Malaysian juniors.

Not so easy, WMC had to fight hard for every point.

Saina should have taken this in straight games but nerves got to her in game 1.

WMC's game got too simplified and became too easy for Saina to read. WMC was basically hanging on in the 3rd game. Hardly any offensive shots. Saina was jerking her all over the court by taking WMC's shots early.

Very astute. Then again, WMC doesn't have much armoury in the first place. Her main weapon, fitness, is already lost and cannot be regained without risk of further injuries.

..fitness/stamina gone for WMC (or at least Saina had more), that's why Saina seemed to be jerking WMC all over the court..

I am so proud of WMC after watched that match......she was full with fighting spirit with never say die attitude..

Playing a 6 years younger opponent is tough but she actually matching SN in all departments, only a bit short in stamina.....

Great work WMC, well done......You make MAS feel proud even with a silver WS medal.
