..as far as i can remember, only LCW can match the number of back-to-back Final Rd. appearances, in at least a SS tourney, LD has produced in the last several yrs. Of course, their results also partly depends on the opponents throughout the SS tourneys.
Although TH is just being modest by saying that it he is not the favourite, but I would like to see him being a little more positive. And certainly hope that he will bring a more positive attitude to the court. what do you think of the world championship this year with lin dan having the most vote in the poll but end up losing at the end? were the bc members voting with their heart or head? please don't tell me they were voting with their heart.
i made my vote and i voted 5 gold medals total for team china. but i really believe lin dan is going to win the MS title.
unfortunately for him and his fans, that is the reality and taufik knows it. and no, it's not because taufik is being humble or what not for him to say that.
IMO, even with LCW playing, let's say MAS gets 2 points from MS and MD...in XD and WD, Thai has a slight edge and in WS, if Thai plays Rathon, the match against WMC can go either way. So if LCW does not play, MAS has no chance.
