IMHO, one week or one month of resting makes no difference in the outcome... :)

Maybe as an independent player, without sparring partners, he is using these tournaments as a training and collect some money along the way. Datuk and the CHN players are training hard at home.

TH is playing too much badminton and that was one of the reasons for his loss to JOJ in the MS finals of the 2010 Dmk SS Open.If he was fresher, he could easily have disposed off the Dane; he was ahead at the interval of both the 2 games. Playing in the French Open and then jetting off to China for the Asiad would be too taxing for his body and I don't think he would do well there. I just hope that I am wrong. Maybe TH has to fulfill his sponsorship commitments as an independent player.

..*nod*, he's going to AG. And yes, he's likely taking these SS tourneys as a training stint.
*Nod*, Taufik knows his chance of winning another AG MS Gold is less than the previous AG thus one week or one month of rest won't make much difference in the outcome.
    - What would people say should TH reach the Final Rd. again in the French Open SS?..
    - He's participating to fulfill the Yonex sponsorship (at least for the French Open) and most likely as a training stint.

what? should he start playing soccer? - he buddies, that is European SS periode, we should complain the stay aways of the top guns! not the other way around as some guys start here telling us that Taufik should stay at home as well! That's the worst I have ever heard , seems the world starts running nuts now! mymy
by the way, following Taufik for a couple years now, the most amazing he did was the come back this year with amazing stamina he was lacking very obviously in the beginning of this year. After beeing down putting all this effort in hard work on stamina issues, haven't seen many people in all kind of sports beeing able to do so, guess we can count them on one hand - don't know if you folks know what it really means to get motivated for that hard way if you have already won everything what matters
Anyway, Denmark Open are over, just wonder what some guys start talking about

2010 Denmark Open SS: Taufik Hidayat managed to defeat all players but one

    .
    I agree. :):):)

It's great to find TH managing to defeat all players but one at this 2010 Denmark Open SS.

IMHO, TH has worked hard to make a comeback after being out of serious participation over the last few years.

TH has made it good; now ranking as the 5th best player in tournaments. To me, it's an achievement that many other players find hard to achieve.

Guess how many players who have played for 10 years or more, and who are still ranked in the top 5 in our World Badminton Rankings? Yes, Peter Gade is the other one.
