MAS - THA : 2-3, Daren Liew lost to Suppanyu Avihingsanon, 16-21 ; 16-21. So Thai Men's team will take on either KOR or JPN in tomorrow semifinal.

It's weird that I don't feel shocked or something. Only the loss of one player from MAS shocked me ;)

LCW has a lot of explaining to do. back injury again?

he holds the anchor of the team. same happened to CHN in Uber Cup, once WYH lost. the whole team crumbles.

..uh-oh, what does this mean for Datuk??..
..don't forget LCW's old knee injury which flared up in his loss vs. Simon Santoso, in last yr's Japan Open..Against LD, when LCW lost, it's most likely related to pressure..

Despite of H2H record and about same age, MHC/TKW are more experienced and higher ranking, if LCW didn't lose, I'm 60% sure they can revenge the THA MD :D.
Daren Liew also have higher ranking and more experienced in term of tournaments participation, he shouldnt lose too despite of their last meeting was won by Avihingsanon.
They both simply cannot hold the tense this time.

..quite an upset...OTOH, good news for Datuk as he'll have a few days to rest up and hopefully give his ankle time to heal..who knows, his ankle might miraculously heal in time for the individual event..;)
