Why don't they try him out with Guo Zhendong? How old is Guo Zhendong?

cai yun said he will partner with fhf until og 2012
    gzd is front court player
    if cy/fhf split
the chance in major is smaller

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I actually meant why should they not try GZD/FHF? ;)

zhang nan is more all court player , i think he'll probably become a very succesfull XD specialist because he can cover the court very well.
chai biao i think has the most similar game to cai yun of the mens doubles players i've seen so far.

Everyone talk about how old Cai is getting, but FHF will be 28/29 after 2012 olympics and most likely i don't think he will partner with anyone else after Cai Yun retires.

D: I cant believe CY/FHF lost so clearly against JJS/LYD.....the last few tournaments, the Korean pair played really bad, so I expected an easy win for my favorite doubles pair. Good to see LYD back to form, but I would still have preferred him to lose :D
I think China will not break up this winning combination - when they are prepared well and really fight with all they got, no other pair in the world can beat them imop. Of course, the Olympic Games are still 2 years away - and Cai isn't getting younger :/ hope he can keep up until then! Partnering FHF with other players will probably not yield such good results, none of them can replace CY at the front court and match the top front players LYD/KKK/Hendra imop.

2010 Asian Games: CY/FHF lost so clearly to JJS/LYD

    .
Looks like China can only win a maximum 6 Gold medals, now that CY/FHF are eliminated.

But I think they're gonna take those. No competition in women's doubles, women's singles will probably be WXin against WShixian, and in Men's singles only LCW can stop them imop. Taufik just cant match LD or CJ.

Looks like CHN will not clean sweep the title with MD gold go either go to MAS or KOR. Maybe this time BC poll will come true with CHN winning 5 gold???

:p..it's official..tough luck for CHN for not being able to have a chance to sweep all 7 Golds in baddy..
    ..perhaps:
    1. LYD concentrating solely on the MD event played a factor? keeping him somewhat fresh?..his last tourney this yr where he played both MD & XD was in this yr's World Championships..
    2. Here's an interesting fact: LYD has won the last 2 China Open SS's MD and XD titles (2008 & 2009)..CHN is his lucky place??..;)

So you think (and have voted) that China would win 5 Gold medals, like most BCers have voted in our poll.

It looks like we need to wait until the day of the FINALS to find out if China can win 5 or 6 GOLD medals.

2010 Asian Games Individual Event: INA Mens Doubles are strong

    .
    Don'y worry. :):):)

INA Mens Doubles are always there (as the last 4 strongest pairs) in most tournaments.
