The KOR pair Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong wins it at the end...23-21. It was not a good performance by Kido/Hendra as they appeared to have under-estimated the KOR pair and made so many errors esp in the first and third-sets. The INA pair certainly didn't look as focused as yesterday when they faced the other KOR pair. Nevertheless, I am not that disappointed by the defeat as the INA pair managed to notch a big victory over their big rival Jung/Lee yesterday I had earlier said that despite the victory at the Asian Games, they may not win it this week....which proved to be true.
haha lee/jung focus cai/fu kido/hendra focus lee/jung came out ko/yoo win the title ^^ but kido/hendra play very well did taufik teach kido some backhand smash? i saw many in their recent game
I agree with you, I'm not too sad MK/HS lost since they already won Asian Games. Is Sigit Budiarto really going to be their coach?? I'm excited! Who is their coach now? Is that the same coach who was behind them during Asian Games?
Indeed....it's more a case of a lack of focus for the INA pair and casual play in some parts of the match. It's the same case when you watched their defeat to the GER pair in the French SS. It will be more heart-breaking if the INA pair lost to Jung/Lee yesterday.
Sigit Budiarto is still coaching at PB Djarum. Sigit Pamungkas is the current coach of MD in the National Team. But, he is resigning to take full care of Kido/Hendra wef next year. Sigit is also the coach that brought them to WC, Olympics and Asian Games glory! Now, the more important thing is to win the All-England title either in 2011 or 2012! I hope they peak just right in time for that tourney!
Thanks for the info! That's great news! I also hope they will win All England next year. Btw, do you happen to know any Indonesian who are coaching in other countries; beside Rexy in Malaysia? I'm just curious...
Only one is correct. So unpredictable final match outcome...No title for INA as Kido/Setiawan & TH lost to their opponent In the last SS of this year, 5 titles for 5 different countries, very fair result. Congrats to all winners
