    .
I guess you are wrong. :):):)

A little bird told me that "the thing" wasn't involved in preparing LD for this LCW-vs-LD match.

Yes, for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, LD was prepared by him to defeat LCW.

    U confused me again...

Wasn't I mentioning "the thing" was not there for LD/LCW match at KO? so both played without their favorite coach at courtside, rite? :D

    .
How can I confused you when "the thing" was not the coach for LD for this event?
    :confused::confused::confused:

However, LCW was with another coach, not coach Misbun Sidek who was preparing him for this event.

I think Jonc108 asked a legitimate question but the response was if anything evasive. It is a simple question requiring a simple answer, but none was offered.

Sorry. Can only talk about their current coach for this event (the 2011 Korea Open PSS).

And yes, if LCW had MS with him, he could probably defeat LD. And if LD had TXF with him, he could also defeat LCW.

Yes, I am sure it is only about the recent 2011 Korea Open. In that event neither MS nor TXF was there. In the context of Jonc108's question, your response of "I guess you are wrong" doesn't address it but instead injected other evasive issues that went round and round.

Case closed if it can be agreed

OK, Perhaps our conversation went on with some misunderstanding. :(:(:(

Jonc108 said: Seemed LD's top coach "the thing" was also not there?

And I replied: A little bird told me that "the thing" wasn't involved in preparing LD for this LCW-vs-LD match.

Jonc108 answered: Wasn't I mentioning "the thing" was not there for LD/LCW match at KO? so both played without their favorite coach at courtside, rite?

And I said: How can I confused you when "the thing" was not the coach for LD for this event?

Jonc108's main point: Both players were without their favorite coach at courtside.

My main point: "The thing" was not LD's coach for this event (therefore he didn't attend). But Misbun Sidek was LCW's coach for this event (he was supposed to be there, but there were problems preventing him from attending).

Case closed: It's all finished now; with the result LD defeating LCW.

..i don't know if anyone else mentioned it, but i'm looking at the poll and BAM, i guess the BC poll jinx reared its ugly head, again, huh??..

As for this hoo-ha abt whether TXH and MS were absent to each respective players, imo, it shouldn't be a reason or even excuse why LD won or LCW lost. Like i mentioned many times before, LD and LCW have played against each other countless times. So, in essence, they should know each other's tendencies, weaknesses, strengths etc. Bringing up the "coaches were missing thus affected the result", imo, is nothing more than bringing up an excuse..

    .
Yes, some BCers do swear that our poll at BadmintonCentral can jinx players. :D:D:D

But I, being not superstitious, won't pay any attention to their comments about jinxing players. :p:p:p

    BTW, who created this poll?

    Too much ifs and perhaps.

When LD won Olympic, the boleh fans claim that if they were playing on a neutral ground LCW could win. LD won AE09.
Then they said, "LCW is unbeatable at his home ground. If LD come to Malaysia LCW will trash him". Sadly, LD beat LCW in Thomas Cup that was hosted at Malaysia and ended with a break dance.
Then again, LCW fans said LD is out of shape and LCW is mentally prepared along side with Misbun to play LD in Asian game and he is there to win.... LCW end up crying in the lockers room.

And finally, we get this what if MS is presented on the court-side? What's next?

    To post #132:

Some of those ifs are created by fans simply to stir up some debate or discussion when forum lost its tempo ;)

The latest one is, if ld didn't fake the injury and played in the last 3 tournaments,

would he be in one piece in Korea open:D

Btw, post 134 is the latest of the latest example from non other than the greatest fan :D

Don't bring up injury, thank you very much. There was a similar case in the Japan Open last year.

Just bringing up the tempo a bit :D

and there is no need to avoid such issues given most of us know it's not Lin Dan wishes to fake the injury.:D

He did his part for the country:);)

Just read his comment in some other thread after the Korea open:)

But maybe I should rephrase the question to :

"If ld didn't use that last 3 missing tournament strategy, would he be in one piece in Korea open?"

IF LD did play the last 3 tournament, LCW would've less rich. :D

Poor LCW. May be this game he was really deserving this win.. till 16:16 in 3rd game no one can say what would be an end.
    Great battle..
