Interesting results for matches on 19/2:

WSX bt WYH 21-15, 21-17. WYH's record for china league is still bad.
Zheng Bo/Chai Bio bt Cai Yun/HHB 23-21, 22-20. Very close.
Lu Lan bt Wang Xin 21-12, 21-16. This is surprising. Lu Lan seems to be playing well now for china league. Previously she bt JYJ.

I don't know where to find the videos. Maybe other people can help.

Once again, Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan contributed a pt today for Hubei as they beat Sang Yang/Xu Chen (Zhejiang) 21-13, 21-17.

2 more matches left for them. I am not sure why they were not played on Thursday as Hubei lost to Qingdao 2-3 (with the MD pair losing to Fu Haifeng/Shen Ye).

WYH's record for china league is still bad

    .
Poor WYH. Hope she could do better in later matches.

And congratulations to Lu Lan. :):):)
l am sure she would be crying less at this 2011 China Badminton Premier League.

At 120K RMB per match, Hubei is going to spend that kind money for home games only. Who can blame them?

Similarly, Guangzhou will use imports for home games only.

There may also be logistic issues that make bringing imports on the road more difficult.

Kido/Hendra are flying back to Jakarta today. So, they will probably rejoin the Hubei team for another 2 home matches sometime in Mar, after the All-England.

They might just fly to Surabaya to help Jaya Raya for a few matches. At the moment, Jaya Raya is slightly toothless without any second-tier MS players and proper doubles pairs in the Superliga. They need to avoid being the last in the league.

i watched the full match yesterday and i think WZM played a really good game. manage to pressure LD all around the court. but towards the end of the 3rd game, he was making way too much error. smashing the shuttle to the net for about 3-4 consecutive times.

Yeah, that was a shame. Well he's got plenty of time to get it sorted out I suppose!

errr....Did you see that LD was only playing half pace in the first game. He gave up the first set after the interval and wasn't even concentrating towards the end.

It was only in set 2 that LD shifted a gear up. Although WZM tried to keep it up but it was quite obvious that LD beat him in all department (techniques, tactics and experience). This is expected...however, the gap between these 2 players was actually quite apparent...but credit shold be given to WZM for not giving up easily.

Since the CBSL is run under the auspice of the CBA and caters to a Chinese crowd, I find it interesting the scoring is done in English.

CHN should import KKK and naturalize him :D:D. ZN and KKK appear to have good chemistry.

Of course there's a large gap... I'm saying it was an exciting match. A great variety of shots, huge smashes, dives. It was a good match and I thought it was highly entertaining. Who cares if Lin Dan gave up the first set? There's such a thing as working your way into a match. Wang Zhengming really fought well.

Agree. WZM is definitely NOT at LD's level yet but he is as good as Chen Long, if not better... However, WZM lacks the variation of shots (like LCW) and powerful smashes. Anyway, give WZM another 2yrs, he may be as good as LD...

It seems that WZM has the habit of playing well against LD. But can he play well against other top players is the question. He lacks the consistency and the nerves to go for PG, TH, etc., and that is why he is a notch below CL right now. But he has such a nice touch, a bit like TH, I really hope he can grow better.

they were paid 120,000 Chinese Yuen (RMB) per match in CBL!!! that's much better than winning a grandprix champion!! :D
