U mean his racket string right? Yep, his racket must be strung with a very high tension. Often see him broke his racket string

Unless Andre beat Simon again or Hayom beat Nguyen Tien-Minh, it will hard to Djarum to beat Tangkas again.

Tangkas will surely field their trusted duo: Nguyen Tienh-Minh and P. Kashyap. Also, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Wahyu Nayaka and Nova Widianto/Devin Lahardi should be fielded as well as MD1 and MD2.

So, it seems they won't field Kashyap in the MS3 then. It will be Evert Sukamta or Ari Trisnanto vs Shesar Hiren Rhustavito.

A big gamble for Tangkas, as they are hoping to secure the first 3 ties (with the MD1 beating Rendy/Afiat).

WR17 vs WR46. Logically, Tangkas is hoping for a victory through the MAS pair.

Tangkas leads 1-0 as Nguyen Tien-Minh secured the first pt easily.

So, Hayom's record will read: W2 L5 (twice to Nguyen, once each to Lee Chong Wei, Mohd Hafiz Hashim, and Hu Yun).

So surprised, NTM win all the matches that he played in 2 straight sets! Bad luck for him when his club can't go to the final.

Rendy/Afiat lead 11-10 at the interval of the second-set, after taking the first set 25-23.

It has been a tight and entertaining match so far! Let's hope Djarum take this match to stretch it to possibly the last and decider match.

Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan beat Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen 25-23, 21-17! It's now 1-1 between Djarum and Tangkas and Tangkas is in danger of losing MD2 as well given the weak pairing of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Wahyu Nayaka. Fran/Ahsan should beat them!

I think this is a positive result for the WR46 and they only lost once in the Superliga, to their super-senior Luluk Hadiyanto/Sigit Budiarto in 3 tight-sets.

    This is their overall record:
    GROUP vs Bona Septano/Joko Riyadi 21-15, 21-18
    GROUP vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Sigit Budiarto 16-21, 21-17, 19-21
    GROUP vs Ricky Karanda Suwardi/Riky Widianto 18-21, 21-18, 24-22
    GROUP vs Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Wahyu Nayaka 15-21, 21-11, 21-19
    GROUP vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Chayut Triyachart 21-17, 14-21, 21-19
    3RD vs Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen 25-23, 21-17

I think Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto is a potential player (watched one of their 2 matches at the HKG SS) but he needs a better player than Afiat....and others will probably agree with me too.

Let's see if Rendy/Afiat can at least enter the top 20-25 by end of this year.

Andre Kurniawan Tedjono took the first-set 23-21! Big problem for Tangkas.
Could this be a repetition of the Group match?

Yes, I think almost of us agree that.
And maybe Mohamad Ahsan, should replace Alfiat, maybe after Olympic.

BTW, can you summarize the result of Andini Suci Rizky with all her partner? I'm quite surprised with her winning against Komala Dewi/Jenna Gozali yesterday. I thought she would lost in straight set.

Simon levelled it 21-9 in the second-set and currently leads 8-5.

I think Simon will have his revenge, unless Andre fights back. Djarum's MD2 should also secure their 2nd pt and all eyes will be on Shesar Hiren Rhustavito vs Ary Trisnanto!
