It seems that TotalSports.tv offers AE coverage for US$5. Did anyone use them before? How's the quality? Can it do full screen?
I would rate TotalSports.tv at about 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. It uses flash player for its video screen, so it can be viewed at full screen. The best part is that there is no annoying commercials. Last time when I watched KO with TotalSports.tv, there isn't any commentary either. It used to carry Jillian Clark's commentary...
I watched the Malaysia and Korea Open there. They had Clark's commentary for one day, but the other days it was without commentary. The quality is not the best (better than on badmintoneurope.tv by far though), but I love being able to watch big tournaments live. I dont know any other site that streams super series events in an accessible way for Germans. If you do, please share.
thanks for the link guys... usually, what time are the matches held? i tried to figure it out from allengland official website but the timings of the matches are not published... does anyone know?
Probably 10AM local on the thursday, 5PM friday, noon(ish) on Saturday and 1PM for the finals going on last year's edition. edit: as mentioned here http://www.totalsports.tv/Sports/Ba...All-England-Open-Badminton-Championships.aspx
rather OK... at least they try or were trying to do the best... it's good if you have a good internet connection also... At home it was OK but in some flat house in Tallinn it was lagging... cannot remember the exact figures but if I remember correctly they had 2 different speed levels... for AE I just a good news from facebook: ***Congratulations! You have won yourself an access to the Yonex All England Badminton Championships live streaming happening this 10th-13th March 2011.*** so I hope that my PC will be OK for next week... on Saturday I am away again in tournament myself but for semis there are better videos available anyway... at least I hope so...
Congratulations! I guess that you are one of the two lucky ones. I wonder if the other winner is also on BC.
sure from all of us you should be the rightest to get this access lets wait videos.. but if i am not wrong there was a guy last year talking right and left about joining smth that we will be able to see from 2011 all tournaments online...?? where is it?
That is TotalSports : http://www.totalsports.tv/Sports/Badminton.aspx "All" tournaments = all Super Series tournaments at least ... I see the previous tournaments aren't available like on WOB.tv ... where is the LIVE + on demand?
I have been wondering as well. Not sure what's the reason behind BWF's decision to terminate the SS rights of WOB and sold it to totalsports.tv which coincidentally is an Asian based company(as if there isn't enough media coverage in Asia already). Anyway, the deal offered by WOB.tv was far superior that what totalsports.tv is offering right now. It's a shame that BWF gave the right to totalsporttv instead. Yes, you can. You have the option to pay with mastercard/visa as well. By the way, it only takes 2 clicks to find out the information above.
Hi guys, I tried to click on the link but it says the service is not available in my region. Is it not available if you are in England?
sorry, i looked for it but could not find it. Usually iam not one these who post questions before searchig themselves. To atone for this i can answer another question. no it is not available in UK (btw can be found after 2 clicks as well)
yes, it's rather often that those internet streams rights are excluding the country where it's happening... the local TV has those rights in some cases and sometimes... but there is an option to use some chinese or whatever proxy and you can see it OK... we were doing it previous times when the transmission was only for asia and worked OK... google around or search here in archive ... sorry I don't have linksat hand as I don't ave at the momentmyownPC...
had you asked them? please do it and other fellows from here please do it also... I will try also from fellows I know and if more people are asking then they will be available also.. at least I think so
My personal experience with WOB.tv: I had a yearly subscription with WOB.tv and received an email from them indicated that they would refund when WOB.tv was out of live streaming business. I replied the email with a question if the refund is done via Paypal since my subscription was done via Paypal. Sorry to say that I never receive any response from WOB.tv, nor refund. Personally I will not do any more business with WOB.tv, don't like their business practice.
Hey, RedShuttle dan Vaido. I am the other winner! Wow, it's really great to see Vaido here. I wondered about you and I found you here! LOL
