    2011 Sudirman Cup: CHN-vs-INA

    .
I thought CHN and INA won't meet at the Final.

Therefore, perhaps the CHN-INA result could be 3-0. ;););)

    I agree with you.
I think PBSI don't pressure they (young player) to win but more to the experience.
    I mean realistic..

Yes of course, Im not saying Bona/Ahsan only can go, i mean any good youngsters for getting more experience rather than sending MK/HS who are clearly not in their best ATM

still 1 week to go before the ranking that will determine the seeding for the knock out phase but my rough calculation shows the seed will be
    1 CHN
    2 DEN
    3 INA
    4 KOR
    5 TPE

    6 MAS
    7 JPN
    8 THA

Assuming they all make it to the final 8. The last 4 are too far to catch up with the first 8. JPN and THA are close but they will still be in 6-8 places with MAS. The only thing is whether KOR or TPE will be in top 4
Meanwhile INA and DEN is 3 and 2 and I doubt it will change next week so the one that can avoid CHN before final is DEN.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the QF going to be a random draw between group winners and group runners-up?

It is only my guess that CHN and INA won't meet at the Final.

But if they do meet at the Final, perhaps CHN could defeat INA 4-1 (1 for INA Mens Doubles).

I see, as I said i could be wrong too. But FHF/DY will be very hard to defeat, especially INA will be withour MK/HS. If INA were to win 1 point, that will be from XD or MS.

2011 Surdiman Cup: Expectations and guesses

    .
I am surprised that you think that INA could defeat CHN in the XD and/or the MS.:confused::confused:

Anyway, it is only from what we expect and guess. :):):)

Let's remind ourselves to read what we have posted here; after the 2011 Surdiman Cup event has completed. ;););)

MAS has got no chance or whatsoever to enter the SF... they would be lucky if they could beat Russia for the QF spot...

Yes, I think you are right. So if Korea top group D and Denmark second, there is possibility that Indonesia might be 2nd seed in that quarter final.

But I was just looking at the ranking of the top 8 based on 12 May.

Russian women players are able to give the Malaysian women a good challenge

Russian women players are able to give the Malaysian women a good challenge. But the Malaysian men would be too strong for the Russian men.

So, it's 2-2. CEH/WPT will face an uphill task against the world number 9 pair, and I don't think Lydia or TJY can beat Ella Diehl. It is all down to the XD match. Can CPS/GLY hold their nerves?
