    I'm in Vancouver and have been looking for people to play with, I was wondering if I could maybe get in on this? What sort of level are you guys?

    This is not a regular group. It's a one-off session, so unfortunately, I don't think it'll serve your purpose. Good luck with finding a regular group :)

    That's true but I have no problems playing a one off-session. I remain interested, that is unless this a somewhat restricted get together. Either way i'm ok with, let me know.

    You are more than welcome to join us when Kwun is here. Not sure if we are at your level but the idea with this gathering is to have fun, hang out and talk badminton.

    There are a couple of regular groups that I play with on Weds and Sundays but I have to ask the organizers whether there's room.

    Plan A: We can have lunch at Silver Tower.

    Plan B if Plan A doesn't work: Lots of HK Cafes nearby.

    Plan C: Noodle places.

    More importantly what do we want for lunch? Specifically, what does the boss want for lunch? Dim Sum? Noodle?

    I consider myself an advanced level player. Not elite but advanced if that's good enough? I'm too fussed, i'm also looking to expand my network in vancouver, get to know people etc.

    i am cool as long as it is good food. :D

    the wedding is in Vancouver near 99/15th Ave. Google maps says it is 22mins from RPro. so maybe some place around these two places? i will let you guys decide.

    coming into canada should be piece of cake... as most of the traffic flow is going into the states due to canadian shoppers attracted by the high cad $

    Haha, you might find we are not quite up to your level. Most of us would consider ourselves intermediates. Maybe the boss is a bit higher (we have to let him win you know, AHEM! :D)

    Plans A, B and C sound good. Let's say 12:30 pm at Silver Tower. Maybe someone can go a bit earlier grab a table. Let's have confirmation as to how many can attend lunch.

    cappy75, look at the revised times:
    Lunch - 12:30pm
    Play - 2:00-4:00pm @ 2 courts

    Hope you can still make at least one of them
