Arif just get lucky as Riichi Takeshita being retired, trailing 17-19, probably get injured during the match...

Yes, I had to rub my eyes and refresh the screen (twice). The scoreline is quite shocking. Both played long R1 matches but it appears Mr. Yoyo had more reserves in the tank than did Persson. miksss will be happy with his PAW :p

Kuan Beng Hong won over Hu Yun in straight games... thus he may likely able to reach at least quarterfinal as he will face either Hafiz or PSH...

Jayaram takes G2 21-15 from CJ. CJ's wretched form continues

A walk in the park for Tommy Sugiarto as he progresses to yet another R16.

He might just face Chen Jin tomorrow.

    This year, he lost to:
    Lee Chong Wei (2x)
    Lin Dan (1x)
    Wong Choong Hann (1x)

and 2 unexpected losses to Wong Wing Ki & Pablo Abian.

If he can upset Chen Jin, it will be very good result for him.

So, it will be Tommy vs Chen Jin then. This will be a perfect time to beat Chen Jin, considering he's still not in top form yet.

Chen Jin barely makes it through 21-18 in the rubber. Good chance for Tommy tomorrow I think.

I left the Chula sports complex at 12.30am after Boonsak defeated Hsueh in the last match of the day. zzzzz.... Most of the matches were delayed by 1.5 to 2 hours but there were a number of supporters who patiently waited for Boonsak's match.

Ajay put up a very good fight against Chen Jin who seems off-form.
