    BIG Match: Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [4]-vs-Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun

    .
    But Juliane Schenk [8] has already defeated Inthanon Ratchanok 17-21, 21-16, 21-18 in 62 minutes. :D:D:D

    Yes, the Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [4]-vs-Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun match should an interesting match to follow.

    Greysia Polii/Meiliana Jauhari will face HJE/KMJ. Last year Grey/Mel beat HJE in QF but that time HJE with JKE, Grey/Mel must win this tie, at least to retain their ranking points as last year they progress to SF.

    2011 Singapore Open SS: Day 4 - Quarter-Finals Womens Singles

    .
    Womens Singles:

    * A tired, Juliane Schenk [8], who played well yesterday, defeating Inthanon Ratchanok 17-21, 21-16, 21-18 in 62 minutes, will find it tough when facing fresh opponent, Wang Shixian [1], who played only for 12 minutes.

    * An interesting match to follow would be the top form, Cheng Shao Chieh when facing Tine Baun [6].

    * Will BIG home support help Gu Juan, when she faces Wang Xin [3]?

    * Another interesting match to follow would be the top form, Yao Jie when facing Wang Yihan [2].

    Tontowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir will face Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun. Judging from their convincing win over Chen Xu /Ma Jin, expecting Towi/Butet to progress to SF, and meet either ZN/ZYL or HHB/YY.

    Hendra Aprida Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto will face Hirokatsu/Noriyasu. Alvent/Hendra is on fire and show their consistency, they have a 2-0 record against this JPN pair. Alvent/Hendra on upper hand.

    2011 Singapore Open SS: Day 4 - Quarter-Finals Mens Singles

    .
    Mens Singles:

    * The Viktor Axelsen-vs-Wang Zhengming match; Both players have done well yesterday, defeating the Seeds [7] (Bao Chunlai) and [1] (Taufik Hidayat) respectively. I think Viktor will win.

    * The Lee Hyun Il-vs-Chen Jin match; I believe LHI is in better form.

    * The Du Pengyu-vs-Peter Gade [4] match; I think PG with his experience will defeat DPY.

    * The Simon Santoso-vs-Lin Dan [2] match; LD will win if DPY doesn't.

    Tantowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir,ALvent/HendraAG,and Greysia/Meiliana will progress to SF
    On the other hand, Simon and Vita/Nadya will lost in QF..
    But,i still hope they will make a surprise :D

    Interesting matchup. Again, sba should place interesting players at the end to entertain people who finished work. ;) BWF still not learning to get more revenues. Shame shame!!! ;)

    2011 Singapore Open SS: Will we see a 'Lin Dan-vs-Peter Gade' semi-final match?

    .
    Fair enough. :):):)

    I still believe that Lin Dan will be facing Peter Gade at the Semi-Final on Saturday.

    It's good to know that Wang Lin is OK

    .
    It's good to know that Wang Lin is OK.

    A left-knee injury caused Wang Lin to retire halfway through the first set against compatriot Wang Shixian in the Round of 16. However, there is no cause for worries as China’s women’s singles coach Zhang Ning told Badzine later that it is deemed to be only a slight strain.

    I am predicting an all Chinese semi final in MS or at least 3. I think Peter Gade would win.

    No more Malaysians left in the quarter and only 1 Singapore player left.

    For the MS; my guess is that these 4 will make it into the Semi-Finals;

    * Viktor Axelsen [Q]
    * Chen Jin
    * Peter Gade [4]
    * Lin Dan [2]

    It so happens that it's DEN-vs-CHN in both the top and bottom of the draw. :):):)

    Because Chen Long has tired out Lee Hyun Il in a 78-minutes match

    .
    I believe you are asking about the Lee Hyun Il-vs-Chen Jin match, where I said that I believe that LHI is in better form. Yes, LHI is in better form, but he is tired.

    Why? Because Chen Long has tired out LHI (their match was 21-18, 21-23, 21-18 in 78 minutes). Therefore, I believe that CJ has a better chance of defeating LHI.

    Chen Jin ought to thank to Chen Long. :):):)
