#56. Fu Haifeng, every shots is tactical and strategic.

#57. MD is about competing for every second the moment the shuttle leave the rackets. Indo team is blocking the serve from Cai Yun.

#58. Cai Yun :- sorry bros! After deliverying a powerful smash closed to the net.

Thanks ct3833 for the photos. And I agree with this :

#55. I conclude one thing for sure - it is more difficult to frame the MD in action with the shuttle. Because their "shuttle" is faster than my "shutter".

#62. MD is definitely the most aggressive play among the "five"(four actually) matches. .....did I say FIVE?

#63. ALvent Yulianto :- sorry I might be down but we are still not out.

#64. The grains due to noise of high ISO at 5000 begin to show up when I crop this picture. But still very impressed by the high noise tolerance at ISO 5000 of the D7000, my D80 would never be able to make it for sure.(I think D80 only could go up to a very unusable ISO 1600)

#65. The China team sealed the match with 21-17, 21-13 win against Indonesia pair in 36 minutes.

#66. Does not matter you win or lose, can I have your autograph please! Hendra Aprida and Alvent Yulianto busy signing off autograph for their fans.

Ahh... You captured the players very well in each frame that you shared. Thank for sharing them :) and yes, MD is very hard to shoot. Their shuttle moves faster than our shutter :D

ct3833, ISO5000 is impressive. I would have thought ISO3200 would be OK. What was your shutter speed?

    Thanks for the pictures!

    Welcome Chayadi!

    Cheung,
yes i am too impressed by the ISO. But I have to highlight that the ISO varied from 4000 to 5000, not all of them were teken at 5000. But the noise outcome is still very good at this ISO level. But I guess it is because there was sufficient lighting and very short exposure, so the photos are not so "grainy". If under dimm light and long exposure, then the outcome might be quite different.

And you are correct, I did try ISO3200 , the shutter speed was manageable. But because I was sitting at about 6 row, I ended up using the long end of the 80-220mm, plus the movement of the double players were quite fast, to be at the safe side, I swith to F2.8, and I notice most of the shutter speed were above 1/1000, ranging from 1250 to 3200 , there about.

Do share your experience and advice. Thanks.
