Sigh...the Danish pair takes the rubber-set 22-20, after saving 1 match pt :(

It will be tougher for Towi/Butet to beat the Danish pair, due to the tall Kamilla in front of the net! You can see how the Danish gals single-handedly beat Mel/Grace today.

If Towi/Butet can beat the Danes, it will boost their confidence even further and it certainly marks their credential for the WC title this coming August!

In all but MD, the final will be between 2 players from different countries.

In MD semifinal, China vs Indonesia for both so there is still possibility of same country final.

I can see you point on SS. So far he's doing good against CJ. Hope he keeps winning. I still like to see SS win a big tournament. I didn't see him much except for KT during the AE finals. ;)

CJ the mystery! After his 2010 WC, where he showed clearly that only LD and LCW were above him, and Asian Games, where he showed again that he is world n. 3, he was starting to look like a zombie. His face had changed, looked 10 years older! So for the next 6 months, he went to sleep and regained his youth, so it seemed. But then today... lost to SS. SS might be a correct player, but not the same category then CJ. So maybe there are real problems with the robots, and 6 months sleep were not enough. We need more tourneys to know.

The Koreans were white-washed in the 2011 Indonesian Open.
All the Indonesian MS players did not make it to semi-finals.
PHG(5) played very well to beat TH(3) 21-17, 21-15 . For this he had also to contend with a ferocious home crowd who rooted for their local hero just as they did for their doubles pairs who went on to beat higher-ranked players, amongst whom are Ah Keat and Ah Heong(4) and MB/CM(1). PHG next takes on the fast-improving S Sasaki and he could spring a surprise as he did against LD and CJ.
The Indonesian MD, WD and XD could also shine as their home crowd will root for them without restraint and you need to be like PHG to shut out the noisy distraction.

Hope that no one will be injured.

BTW, the WS Finals will be between Saina Nehwal [4] and Wang Yihan [3]. It's India-vs-China. :):):)
