English ... OUT! Badminton Star Fantasy Team ... OUT THE WINDOW So much for "Relationship helps British duo Robertson and Wallwork" Just goes to show what too much fantasy money can do (probably would've done better with the team I had with something like $28K left)
my team are still going strong. well apart from Tai not turning up, everyone is doing good, hopefully Adcock/Bankier can win the next two rounds (on the tv court again tomorrow) looking forward to watching Cordon this time. and there is a ten test age gap, what are they playing at ? (what is she playing at more like)
I must say I was deply impressed with Cordon. Admittedly, I've been out of the loop for a while, but he did play a really good game.
Hirose-Marin Round 2 match stats - no net, no smash, no clear winners!! Hey BCers: Did any of you see the 2nd Round match between Eriko HIROSE and Carolina MARIN? I looked at the stats (bitly.com/qfBEZy), and from the total of 118 points that were played, there appears to be no net winners, no smash, and no clear winners. What is going on here? Did the scoring device operator not operate the device properly? If you are/were at the Wimbley Arena, kindly write who is operating the scoring device.
the device is operated by the umpire. nowadays with tournamnetsoftware integration, the umpire do not count scores anymore. instead on each rally he simply clicks the touch screen on how+who won the rally, and then computer will automatically do the statistics gathering as well as score keeping for him.
A disastrous day for INA players, especially in XD where 2 pairs out of 3 were eliminated. Although I expected both pairs to win their matches, they were facing tricky DEN & TPE opponents. Fran/Pia should have won their match after leading in the third-set, but once again, they succumbed to the same malaise that keeps on affecting INA players (ie: lost focus when leading comfortably) and lost narrowly.
. Yes, I agree. Not only for INA players, but for so many other players; they often get to lose their focus when leading comfortably. .
