Just got these delivered this morning - my new Yonex SHB-SC3MX, size 10.5 UK. I'll "break them in" first by wearing them around the house before I play tomorrow evening.

The CD plays no significance. I just really like Jimmy Eat World!!!

3 sessions so far, and apparently its lighter than Gel Rocket 4 but much more comfortable, thanks to breathable mesh at the sides and front, gel system provides very good cushioning, and it fits my wide feet nicely and withstand my weight while moving, jumping and landing comfortably.

    Thanks hunny ! ;)

    Thanks kwun !

Only a speedlite mounted on camera bounce from a reflector from above. The lighting aint that consistent actually, but I guess its good enough to get few pictures of the shoes while it was still new before I start abusing it hehe.

I just picked up a pair of Nike Kobe that I'm going to try out as badminton shoes. They're currently on sale in the US for around 99 bucks, so hopefully they'll be good. Super awesome fit and it feels like you're not even wearing shoes.

Which version of Kobe ? I have 3 and 4 for basketball and they were really good. I guess yours must be the 5th or 6th version then ? 4,5,6 are low cut so I think not much issue as badminton shoes albeit abit bulky for badminton.

I'm actually more fascinated by the quality of the pics, than the shoe itself ! :D

But great looking pair of shoes though ..... does it come in any other colours?

I believe she got it from Chiang Siah Store Jalan Bangsar. Plenty of Asics over there that has my size (US13) hehe.

Yeah, they're the latest version, low cut. They're not bulky at all. They're ridiculously light and I feel faster just jumping around the hotel room haha. The trend in shoes for other sports is all about light weight, and I think Badminton shoes are a little primitive in that respect.

Just bought this victor 2011 model, SH980. I don't see anyone post this yet.
Fit very well, overall construction is a bit stiff (like YY SHB101) and feel very stable. The front sole feels a bit wide, give me the confident to move around without worry about spraining ankle. Only complain is not enough ventilation.
