One cleared although he did admit he was struggling towards the end. A fresh CL might be too much for him again in the final (if they both make it).

Agree. If LCW struggles, he has himself to blame. He used the wrong tactics in G2. It s amazing how he seems unaware of what tactics win points against CJ. Ian Wright, GC s co-commentator, pointed that out quite clearly. LCW has the speed advantage, and with his skills, he has the privilege of maximizing variation in his game but he does not use it often enough. Variation is toughest on the opponent mentally and physically, especially against CHN MS who are rote trained. Anything outside the syllabus can trigger a mental block and consequent mental collapse.

Congratulations LCW for winning the SF aginst PG.

By the way, I just checked the French Open draws. Again no MAS WS players. They're not even in this ongoing Denmark Open. Why BAM?? Whats the problem? No money or what? I think Maybank gave them enough. BAM wants to 'simpan' WS players til' when? Can't BAM even send the players for qualifications round?

Should I call WMC back just to fill in the void?

I just watched the PG v LCW match and felt a little sorry for PG that he couldn't close out G2. This is the best he's played against LCW for a while. Too bad he fell just short.

2 consecutive losses to Chen Long would spell disaster for his confidence. Hopefully he is in good condition to take CL out.

Dun worry ! LCW will win this time. He has found a way to beat CL. He said this before leaving for Denmark. What he need to do is moving around CL and do more forehand smashes instead of cross-court smashes. In Japan open, LCW did a lot of cross court smashes and all his cross - court smashes were picked up by CL easily and these have put him in a tremendous disadvantagous to recover the shot ! LCW has been practicing forehand smashes for the past 3 weeks before leaving for Denmark !

For team China, CL is more or less trained or "programmed" in such a way to specifically take down LCW for many obvious reasons. CL has LCW moves and style of play all stuck in his head. It was the reason how CL managed to win the first game in JO 21-8.

On the other hand, a player like LCW who already reach a certain level of play has this intellectual ability to switch his game plan and strategy and ultimately come out good in the end. Realistically, his experience and level of play is a notch above CL who's game is so one dimensional.

If both players perform to their real standard today, you would't expect another final like JO.
