    2011 French Open SS: Quarter-Finals Friday 28-October

Let's see who are the players who will move to the Semi-Finals (to gain more valuable qualification points for the coming 2012 Olympic Games).

Previously, I have given links for Live Streaming, but not all countries can share the links. Perhaps some BCers from different countries can post their links that are working for their regions.

    Only 3 Chinese WS left.

Looking forward the rematch of Angga/Rian vs Jung/Lee

I guess court 2 will be the TV court on BWF channel or maybe court 1.

Big debate over who gets the free pass: LD or CJ? A couple of threads have been posted about whether CJ can realistically garner enough points to make the OG. Basically, can he overtake PG and get in the top 4. I'm betting LD gets the nod today.

And also a civilized time for the matches for a change: 9:30am PST :)

Betting with you, I may get to collect my winnings. My bet CJ will beat LD in QF, no problem.

For such an event, the correct technical term is "Wimpover" (because it is not technically a Walkover.) Thank you. :)

Vivian/WKW lost to another INA pair but I'm glad they fought in the second game. Expected to see them in Bitburger GP but I guess they too tired already and just went home.

    Miyuki/Satoko -- Go ladies! :D

TV court should be Court 1.

to kick off at 6:30 PM local time... it's an indecent time for the ASIAN continent... just wonder how "early morning" all the matches will finish... stealing all the sleeping hours
the good part is... it's TGiF :D so timing should not be a hindrance for BCers

Wonder what kind of payout the online gambling is giving a 4XWC, OLY08 gold medalist, 4X AE Champ and countless SS champion over CJ. Hmmm, I smell money, only if I have registered for paypal and if the odds is good, it is money in the bank...this is not even a guess or prediction it is a guarantee LD will 'lose' to CJ and if CL goes to final, another guarantee on CJ winning FO11....no brainer, kaching $$$:D

Is it possible for LCW to throw away this QF to avoid CL in SF?

One of the interesting match to observe today is Lee Chong Wei [1] vs Shon Wan Ho

Then this question comes into mind...

Will it be possible that LCW just throws away this QF match, taking a graceful exit knowing that CL is almost certain waiting ahead?

Of course the projected SF rematch will give LCW a good chance for revanche.
However, with the apparent risk of facing another lost, thrice in a row, which can be a burden too much to bear for the World #1, he may simply opt to a different strategy today!

One should not diminish the potential pathological effects of such unabated strikes.
It's interesting to see then,... and don't say that you aren't warned
    :D

If LCW were to throw the game, it would basically be telling the world he's afraid of CL and that he's mentally broken. Better to be positive and let him work through it.
