There is a chance that LD and WZM may not play..ironically, new VP of BWF is Liu Feng Yan from China...Media keeps pounding the WO of chinese players....BWF is smart in putting this Chinese to be a bait for media...
CJ's chances of qualifying for the OG'12 isn't too good. Lin Dan had better consolidate and reinforce his own chances, now that Chen Long is posing a serious threat to his archrival Lee CW and himself!
So when LD throws away matches regularly to avoid LCW, is LD basically telling the world he s afraid of LCW and that he s mentally broken? What I find amazing is fans often associate LCW s losses as due to nerves or mental weakness but LD s losses as being generous or unmotivated. It s like in AE11 final stage of G2, both commentators GC and IW were hoping for LCW to get nervous so he can t close out the match. Luckily he proved them wrong. It never occurred to them LD was probably more nervous.Come on, give some respect to Badminton s Men s Singles WR1! LCW cannot be World No 1 for three years and not get past the mental toughness threshold. If WZM gives CL a wimpover, it s gonna be tough for LCW to match CL s stamina. But that s life, not something to worry about as long as he knows why if he loses.
Back then CL was just new, not even in the top 10 (people can hardly notice him before 2011). But LCW is on the top, WR #1, in three consecutive years! Different status, different psycho effects!
If chenlong can win og. He cld be better n richer than ld. Nothing to loose for lyb.The faster he gets the better. Goodbye ld. But there can be another shocker like the cordon to repeat? Only lcw ln n cl can win og.
SWH did well played LCW in AE10 SF..........I think he may repeats that kind of form in today QF against LCW. Going to be a difficult match for LCW. CL will gets free pass from WZM and CJ will be granted a pass to SF too ............as usual. LCW needs to play top form CL as many times as possible regardless win or loss......before London Olympic next year, so LCW will try his best to enter SF to play CL.
Indeed today's matches will be even more exciting if the MS draw was as such that all the four CHN MS don't have to face each other in this stage. Setting each of them with opponent from other country will automatically ensure the exciting and all-out matches!
so when lcw start to lost people cant get used to it as if he had a good win loss every year in his career
Right, for LCW to lose to CL again for the 3rd time in a row in less than a month would be devastating, even traumatic, for him. So he might just do what you say, go back and regroup and recharge himself, instead of risking such a psychological blow. On the other hand,Lee might just get his revenge tomorrow and gain a much-needed boost to his self-belief and confidence, seeing as Chen Long,in my conjecture, could be feeling heady and get carried away. The two are equally matched in terms of skill - it's become more of a mind game to see who is mentally more relaxed and stronger. However, what if he actually overcome CL this time, happily for him, but only to lose to Ln Dan yet again in the final? Worse still, what if his final opponent is Chen Jin instead of LD and, horror of horrors,he suffers a shock defeat - unimaginable but not impossible taking into account their last encounter? The worse nightmare and a dolorous blow for him - one that he may never recover from;there goes his Olympic dream,in smoke.
If lcw can win fo it will be good for him. Else lyb will be happy to dent lcw morale. Lcw shd have lost to pg in do. Bad judgement if he doesnt win fo.
I suspect team china will let WZM through to face LCW. CL already has the psychological advanatge over LCW so now it's WZM's turn to have a go.
It's clearly CHN ploy to play mind games with LCW. They're daring him to show up and face CL. It's a game of "chicken". At the moment LCW is not at his best and has suffered 2 consecutive defeats to a player he used to own. Why not twist the knife when it's in him already? If LCW wins, good for him. The chances of CL to beating LCW 3 tournaments in a row is small. CHN will see it as another stepping stone to learn LCW's game. If LCW loses, I'm afraid it'll be a huge mental blow for him. It'll be up to his coaching team to be able to suss out how to overcome it.
LCW may have to lose and the chances of that happening is good if CL gets another WO. Well, that s ok as long as LCW knows why if he loses. Bad preparations to start with. Imagine BAM got him to lower his badminton standard and interrupt his preparations with a local tournament for one week before DO. How brilliant is that? Can only come from NCC. I would be impressed if LCW can swing it on doubtful stamina.
LCW is Malaysia, I believe that he won't do like LD. The importance is his behavior even though it a lost. Thirce in a row is not the matter. You see that we all respect PG regardless how many times he lost to LCW and LD. So I think we rather wait for his reaction than a result
