One big smash from Xu causes chaos and MJ is able to push into the open space down the middle. CHN 19-18

Xu's smash is returned long by Nova. CHN 20-19

Nova pushes into the net. CHN 21-19

I think INA's chance to win might have evaporated with that heartbreak.

Actually China do the matches fixing, BWF can do the players fixing in Oly 2012 ! this is the best way to penalise them ! i have a very smart way to ensure CL and Lin Dan to be placed in the same half ! i will suggest to BWF how to do it when near to the draws ! But I am not sure BWF dare to do it or not ?

    China wins G2.
It's a hard to say when INA is doing so well against formidable opponents, but I think Nova is suffering from a bit of lack of imagination in his shot selection-- compared to his usual inventive self.
I'm off now, but predict that Xu and Ma (with those athletic legs) will win G3 handily. (Sorry Vita)

CHN are involved in 9 of the 10 matches in the SFs tomorrow but oddly none against each other. So we will declare Oct 29 "No Walkover Day".

Fans will get their money's worth tomorrow.

Actually, I doubt so. The match was really a pity, all clears and lifts from LD, training, the man attacking was CJ! The first set was clearly a gift, the second one almost another, LD apologizing when scoring :D
    Such a weird match.

Weird, yet interesting. So you feel LD has lots more in reserve

He was playing very defensive. His court coverage, moves etc were good, but he simply did not smash, even quite short clears... Several points turned into a clear routine, CJ taking the initiative the first.
Too many easy lifts, too many unforced errors...
