A relieved, happy and relaxed Chong wei will tear Tago to shreds tomorrow. I'm more keen on the New Princess vs New Queen match.

as much as i wanna see CL winning today, I just light-heartedly accept the fact that LCW is better today :p

and you've the sound points that CL's climbing path to the top must be nurtured in a steady convincing way to make his reign a longlasting and great one, at least something comparable to LCW's years of achievements!

//edit: so CL better backs to the camp to train even harder... still not good enough, and make sure to peak only in Oly!!!

An Indonesian ruckus or Malaysia Boleh tantrums transported to Paris. But still, it's part and parcel of being a professional player not to let the annoyance get to you.

XD game more interesting to fans

The howling and rooting were for the XD game between 1st and 4th seeds while LCW - CL match was progressing. Fisher and Pedersen stole the show for today.

I think CL only really comes to radar in 2011! I myself noticed him only in 2011 Indonesia Open when playing against LCW then. Just don't think he will rise so fast.

On the contrary, you should thank them for showing you award winning directed-shows without having to go to the cinema.

CBA owes nobody nothing, not even an apology for the walkovers, let alone your meals.

Anyone think when CL's age is 29 is as good as LCW's?

A hefty tall and big size player like CL, even slightly larger than BCL, takes an injury toll easier than a petite and muscular LCW. So kudos to CL if he is as fit as LCW when turning 29yrs old in future.

I think that has a lot to do with his talent plus the very good structure/system that the Chinese Badminton Association has. Not just in MS, just look at other events, so many new comers and all prosper and moving to right direction.
I read across one article, the former great MD player Cheah Soon Kit stated Malaysia lacks of one leadership like Li Yongbo ... As much as I envy the Chinese for their domination and control for this sports but I also credit them for putting such a robust system into the country.

CL seemed a bit off-colour today, whilst LCW was more accurate overall. LCW in JO final was really quite concerning, though the 2nd game in that match he seemed to pick up.
I felt that LCW also tried a few variations/deceptions in his game today to counter CL's speed. This is what LCW will need to do consistently from now on whenever he meets CL. LCW is a pretty speedy guy himself, but he doesn't seem to use it often enough. And I've never understood why when he dives onto the ground on court to retrieve a shot, he tends to stay on the ground an extra few seconds whilst watching where the shuttle goes.
Here's hoping that LCW will continue to train hard, sit down with the coaches to watch videos of CL/LD and continue to counter those guys.
    In LCW we trust. :)
