Leslie I suppose, I've never been to Browngate so don't know how good the courts are.

Leslie is fully booked. I was able to book at Browngate for Courts #1 & #2 for 7-9pm (total 4hrs) on Tuesday December 27th. They also had Court #3, #8, and #9 available. #1 and #2 are right by the entrance. I can change it to the other courts if people want (ie. #2 & #3 or #8 & #9). I think the lighting is better at Browngate but it's colder than Leslie.

I need to give 24hrs notice prior to cancellation.

Any preference of shuttles? I can stop by Yumo Pro Shop and pick up some HangYu Tournament#1 or RSL Classic Tourneys. Or at Tad's and pick up some Yonex or Victor shuttles.

CD: Awesome! Once we decide which courts are better, we can cancel the other place.

About Browngate courts, sorry if I'm being picky, but could you please check with Browmgate to see which of those courts are better? Or do you personally know the better courts there?

HangYu #1 I can get from my friend for $18/tube if you like.

My lessons are on Court #4 at Browngate. Don't know much about the other courts so I'll check it next time I'm there. I'll look for possible obstructions (like a low running pipe across the court...ie. Leslie Court #5) and try to see the lighting from both sides of the courts.

man, you guys are good, before I even have a chance to call any places. Booking is all done.

I am good with any of the centers, lets have other players charm in if they have any preferences.

Too bad Bamdinton Vancouver is not open yet (...or is it??). I wouldn't mind checking that place out.

CD - I prefer not to have the court where Tedski and I visit you last time. I have difficulting telling the dept of the shuttle when the court is laid out like that :(

Yeah, some of us older folks (like me! :)) have trouble with depth perception when some courts are laid out end to end several in a row. Like #1 & 2 at Richpro and the ones along the wall at Leslie. :p

Courts at Browngate are not along the walls..just the ends with ample room. Courts #8, (my court) #9, #10 at Leslie are along the wall and Court #5 at Leslie has a low hanging pipe that interferes with gameplay.

Your gf is more than welcomed to join us. Although I don't know how comfortable she'd be being the only girl there. I know my wife rather not play if she was the only female in the group.

Should we include group photos and videos? What about a bit of light food for Dec 27th?

Yep to all of the above. :) That's why we're trying to get 2 courts adjacent to each other... easier to take pics and socialize. And since it'll end at 9pm, hopefully we'll all have some snacks and chat after.

@madbad: do you think RichPro will be able to get 2 adjacent courts?

Madbad is the king of photo, and I think most of cell phone/PDAs are petty good with video these days, so that should be taking care of.

Visor, I think HY#1 is good, that we most of us play with, will be great if you don't mind pick up a couple tubes. Unless someone want something higher end, I have some Victor Master #1, but they are considerably more expensive.

I might relinquish the photography duties to someone else this time round. I'm sure there are many others capable of this. :)
