Oh, cry me a river. You really think this is going to change the general impression on China? Their reputation is well tarnished already.
He cannot play the Korea Open as his name is not on the list and the registration deadline has passed. He finished his military service a year ago and has no more than one-day obligations from here on in, like any other Korean man. I mentioned this on the Park Sung Hwan thread. As for the Olympics, it's highly doubtful. He is still ranked 13th in the world but over half of his points are from before May 1st so they won't count. Theoretically, if he could win the All England and the India Open and the Swiss Open, he could make up all those points. Seriously, though, he's defending about 30,000 points altogether so it's still possible with 2 SS and 3 GPG left before the cutoff. He'd have to stay within the top 16, though. Shon Wan Ho (family name 'Shon' pronounced like a Canadian says 'sewn' or 'sown') still won't likely get into the top 16 this week, even with the Hwasun points.
Oh, cry me an ocean. You really think this is going to change the general impression on Korea? Their reputation is well tarnished already. ...One crime could not justified by another crime.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Unfortunately you're so pro-CHN you can't see the forest for the trees.
for the OLY qualification, on week 31 PSH is at 31 with 26593 points, that's about 10000 points behind the current no 16. with 4 t'ments in hand it is very doable for him to catch up.
Actually, its easy to distinguish, from previous posts over several years. That way, can see very obvious.
Perhaps. But he will miss the Korea and Malaysia Opens and Shon Wan Ho is already 17,627 points ahead of him. Basically, he'd need about 4 solid QF finishes out of those 5 GPG and SS.
use the points since May this year for qualification; http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/99303-The-routes-to-London-2012
. Of course, we get to know BCers who are biased (for particular idols/players and nations/teams) based on their previous posts. .
How naive is this... just laugh me off my chair... People like to lable others first and then look at what they say... This is called selective listening, if not biased...
Our BC threads will end up in War Zone again . Although we get to know BCers who are biased (for particular idols/players and nations/teams) based on their previous posts, let's keep it at that... We should never go on criticising each other. Otherwise, our BC threads will end up in War Zone again. .
Agree. It's so damn boring to be neutral. We should support our favourite player/s otherwise who is going to buy tickets/subcribes to tv channels to watch them?
