I do not trust this Park Joo Bong...what's his real intention to coach Japan? I do not think he puts his passion for coaching above his ethnic loyalty.

Since he took up the job, i have never seen him coming up with a formula for Japan to defeat the Koreans..seems like he is sharing half of what he knows to the Japanese....what a cheeky person

Correct me if i am wrong, if Saina wins in India Open and LXR loses in early rounds in India, then Saina will overtake LXR in ranking. Right?

Interesting scenario...but it seems as thought LXR might stay fourth marginally if that happens..

Then Wang Shixian knows what she has to do to keep her place heheheeh

LXR seems to have the knack of romping home in the decider, as seen in a number of matches previously and today. Moral of the story is don't stretch her in three games, try your level best to finish it in two against her.

And then, the fairy godmother said:

"Chen Jin, you shall go to the Olympics"

It's not guaranteed yet, China and Chen Jin can only sleep soundly when they hear about Gade's defeat in India...while waiting for that to happen, Chen Jin must do well in India too and avoid early elimination

Yes. If Saina win India Open SS and LXR doesn't make to the final, Saina can still marginally overtake LXR.

The first two games could be real but the last game could be fixed. I think WYH acted well so that most people believed that it was a real game. I am surprised about the Lin Dan's walk-over. He at least should give Chen Jin a practice session. Now, he has to explain his injury well to BWF......

That is only if LXR screws up in the early rounds, her draw seems very generous to her...all the top opponents including Saina are on the top half, leaving WSX alone to deal with all of them..Furthermore, LXR has Jiang Yanjiao to escort her to the final.

So LXR should have no problem advancing to the Final and securing her place whether she wins or loses in the final of the India Open.

It will be very difficult for the opponents to defeat her because of her sudden peak recently and it will take a lot of effort to spot her weaknesses..

I cant sense any weakness in her defence or strokes. Her shots and deception at the back of the court are quite scary...you cant predict where she is going to place it; WYH for instance was tricked several times by the cross court placement....

Kim Sa Rang and Kim Ki Jung is an up and coming pair from Korea that is to watch in the future. According to GC, they have beaten 4 or 5 seeded pair to win their first BAC. Daebak

No, not even in SIN, haha! Remember Michael Fay who still got caned despite the US President's intervention? LD is by far a relatively mild case as a team player.

Bar LD from the Olympics? This will be a real shocker to LYB but also unlikely.
Badminton fans will definitely object. They want a rematch between LD and LCW, full stop.

But if ranking points are taken away from him such that CHN could not have three reps in MS, wow this really hurts!

Will the entire CHN badminton team boycott London Olympics?

Kim Sa Rang and Kim Ki Jung have been very impressive throughout this tourney... beating everyone in 2 straight games and made it seem so easy!

The Korean team have taught them well. Their rotation, speed and defence is what made them a great doubles combination and upholding Korea's great reputation in mens doubles. Both of them are very good at intercepting at the front, which made a big difference. Back player thunders the smashes, front player finishes it off. When on the defence, very steady and looking to counter every shot to get back the attack.

Just when we thought JJS/LYD was good, then there's KSH/YYS and now KSR/KKJ! Definitely will be even more difficult for China now that they have 3 viable pairs to look out for. Not to mention Shin Baek Choel, another talented player waiting beneath the shadows

Again as usual China once again exposes their weakness in MD department, producing sub-standard pairs that couldn't even beat player outside the top 10 bracket..

Is Fu/Cai the only MD pair China can produce out of 5 billion population ? What a joke....

All the "punishment" will not work because there will be difficulty in proving and the "punishment" for not following team order is even worse.

I think the way is to make all players professional. First, BWF has to change the way players register for competition. No more through the country association. Everyone can register on their own to BWF.

And prize money should be given directly to players.

After that BWF can warn to give temporary ban or punishment to players so players who choose to follow their boss orders risk getting the punishment.

Lin Dan wouldn't care if BWF deducts 10,000 points from his WR points. He could still play in the Olympics. But if BWF were to deduct just 2,000 points from CJ's world ranking points. That would be very interesting. Peter Gade would overtake CJ in ranking.

In a sense, just like most of us, the Chinese fans like to see foreign opposition in fierce competition and to cheer compatriots on to win!
