    Congrats CXJ. But you don't have the height that Chinese coaches like, unless you have the skills and strokes of GONG ZHICHAO. Still time to develop them. Oh I forgot, Gong's temperament and consistency too.

    The way Chen XJ pushed LXR previously,kept the latter on her toes and panting in G2, convinced me she, CXJ, is a player to watch. By overpowering the reigning EU Champion in two straight games, she's effectively announcing to Saina/Baey :Watch out,here I come !

    The stats records the winner/point that you have scored from the last stroke of your rally;
    * Smash
    * Net (Dropshot/Netplay)
    * Clear
    * Other = You didn't do anything, but your opponent gave you a point.

    Indeed,height is a natural advantage but lack of it can be made up for by ability to jump-smash and speed of movement. I won't quote WSX's lack of height as she doesn't smash,hardly; Susi Susanti,not tall enough, was an excellent stroke player too. Gender aside,Lee CW is a shining example,the quickest mover on court. Right, I hope CXJ can emulate Gong Zhichao.

    Problem is, sometimes the stats not accurate
    How many times already we saw it's mostly "Other" pts, no smash, no net pt, weird. DUnno how the umpire categorize

    Finally Rupesh Kumar/Thomas S won over Kim/Kim after leading 11-6, then the koreans catch up, level. The India pair lost the 2nd set that way

    That means Tine's lack of consistency and accuracy in attack is her main weakness;old habits die hard,difficult to change. Occasionally, when she's less error-prone she can be devastating, esp her matches against Wang SX.

    This is true. Many a times the umpire pressed the wrong button on his/her score pad. :(:(:(

    By the way,all of you expert players and coaches,how do you tell "forced" from "unforced" error? When your opponent returns every shot you throw at him, then you make a mistake, forced or unforced? When you serve out, push the first return shot long or hit it wide of the mark or into the net,it's a clear-cut unforced error, I supposed?

    She could not get the measure of Porntip and Ranchanok during her junior days.But the way she cried convinced me then that she was very determined to succeed. Good for her that she has improved so much under the Chinese training system. The great Gong Zhichao also needed one to two years of exposure to senior level competition before she established herself. Hope she can do the same. I agree that she is a player to watch just like Han Li and even Liu Xin, unless the Chinese are able to deliver younger and better players on their famed badminton conveyor belt in the next one or two years.

    The score pad does not have a button for "forced/unforced" error. This is because they want to remove any subjective opinions from the umpire.
