I am thinking if LYB has to pick between WSX or LXR for OLY and since WSX lost to SN in straights, why not have LXR play SN and see how she did.
IO12 may be a SSP and winner gets big payday. But to LYB, it is the last playing field before OLY which is a the biggest fish to catch, so have LXR goes through in 2 straights over WYH and test SN. Now that SN won over 2 CHN WS, SN is a target/threat to CHN WS and LYB/ZN have work to do.

CBA has lost quite lot of prize money from IO SSP finals few days ago, thanks to their players bad performance. i'm curious, what kind of punishment the players will get back then at their base camp. :p

Oh-no,please...that's corruption...and will destroy the game of badminton if the players are involved.

A bookie, also known as bookmaker, is a gambler who accepts and pays off bets.

You're most welcome, you must be pretty young and innocent not to know what a bookie is, and you're always so polite and respectful whether in agreement or disagreement - how I wish there are many more like you in this forum. Glad to make your acquaintance here.

Coming back to Wang Yihan, she is now regarded even by LYB as a safe bet for OG, the most experienced, mature and tough fighter among the top CHN WS. Her three successive defeats at LXR's hand is an anomaly, against everybody else she is quite consistent now. I believe her over-dependence on her coach can be weaned off gradually by her growing mental toughness through accumulated experiences over time. Look at Lin Dan nowadays,he doesn't seem to need any coaching, just a pointer or gesture is enough, most of the time he gives me the impression he wasn't even listening,no eye contact or nodding in acknowledgement with his coaches.

actually, i'm not sure if i fit to be called as pretty young, not to mentioned innocent. :D but really, bookie is not the word/term that familiar to me. and it's just now that i know what it is. thanks. :)

i just hope she can peak at the OG. really wish she could get a medal, and a gold is absolutely better. really like this WYH. :D

She is really pissed off and sad at the same time.

Worked so hard to eliminate the hardest opponents of the tournament and only to realise her gold is stolen by her teammate who just came out of nowhere with no ups or downs.

If I were here i would be pissed probably to the extent i would quit playing badminton.

I hope she bounce back as a cheerful person the next day and come on both she and Wang Shixian will feature in the next edition in Rio 2016.

Till next time: Return of the Wang-der Heroes.

maybe WYH must looked back, to see how many WS players had participate in the OG without winning even a bronze medal (the uptodate good example, her teammate WX :(). so winning a silver when every best players participate is already an achievement. too bad that someone must win as the other must lost. :(
