Sheesh, they should have taken me with them.

Mind you, did they go to Stratford for the Olympic village? It's probably 1.5 hours from there to the tournament venue in wembley.

the Chinese team are smarter and opted for a closer hotel. they must've planned this quite early as the availability will be very scarce.

CBA really have the bucks to throw in and well-prepared... any idea how far is their hotel from the Wembley Stadium? << 0.5hr?

hmm, aside from distance, the hotel facilities should be more comfortable than the Olympic Village's ones (just take the modest kid-look bed as a reference)

i wonder if only their badminton team do this way, there should be some other followers.

    Side news...

From Fengwei, who is helping out as one of the volunteers at the Wembley stadium...he told me, he saw the following teams came in & practiced today..

CHN team, entire team came at 1 pm. They all look focused and raring to go...he helped the CHN team with the translation..
Players from Uganda, Egypt, USA (saw Tony & Howard & Rena>>according to Fengwei she was really sweet & friendly), INA team (Taufik, Simon, MD, XD) also came today, Nathan Robertson came with the torch to Wembley stadium and went inside the stadium with the torch..Czechs players, Edwin Ekiring..Saina Nehwal came also (according to Fengwei she's really2 super cute and beautiful)..Mexico team came right after he left..Canadian team also came today..
The M'sian team supposedly came and trained y'day at the venue. According to Fengwei, LCW was at the venue y'day

too bad no photos to capture them all..

Lol, the one responsible for all the pinkness must be a female, and designed this Olympics for females.
What has happened to the equality of the sexes?

The colour contrast, pink backdrop and green courts, cannot be more jarring, almost an eyesore. Individually, the colours are OK but together they are ill-matched. Don't the organizers have a sense of colour? Pastel or light pink, not so bright, would be more suitable, I think.
