Isn't it a little early to count them out? If they beat the Thais (possible) and Xu/Ma beat Cheng/Chen (probable), then you're looking at a three-way tie for 2nd place. The Taiwan pair could lose in 2 straight, which would put them at the bottom of the heap. Chan/Goh would have to win in 2, and that would put them at 3-4 in games, with the Thais at 2-4 and Chen/Cheng at 2-5. It's something of a longshot, but it is still a possibility.

Group of four format is excellent. Even though you may only get one win, there's still a chance to go through and keep the Olympic dream alive.

4th title, after 2010 BAC, 2011 Bitburger and 2012 MAS GP Gold. Congratulations for their first SS title!! I missed the match, definitely must catch it on YouTube later! Well done Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying!

Are they the first pair/player who won SS title for Malaysia since 2010 Malaysian Open(KKK/TBH) besides LCW?

I rate them as no 5 in the world, just below the top 4. They have improved a lot this year and matches between them and Owi-Butet are getting closer each time.

Jeremy Gan. Dunno if Rexy gave any ideas. Rexy was chief doubles then.
Yup. 1st ever SS title in XD for Msia since last time we dont focus on XD.Now they need to equal or better KKK/WPT semi final finish in WC and win A Commomwealth Gold in XD.Congrats to Ah Soon & Ah Ying. Finally they win SS title, after 4 years partnership.

Here are the highlights from the XD final yesterday:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys1F1nheUg4

    I
'm glad to see that CPS/GLY did not over-celebrate their historic victory over their Indonesian opponents, that was good sportsmanship and also showed that they are not big-headed about their win.

*it seems that no one noticed that they won a SUPER SERIES title...(although it was with the absence of China, there were quality opponents) :( I heard the morning news and they just mentioned that LCW won without mentioning a word about this pair! What a disgrace!
