He might get DQ for not respecting his opponent if it is a 3 setter.

If that is the case, then whichever top seeded player who play 3 sets should be DQ'ed too... ;) What kind of rule is this?:p

If that is the case, all Chen Jin wins over LD should be DQ, including the SINgapore SS open title he won last year... prize money should be given back to sponsors....:D:D

Not quite enough but sufficient to 'trounce' SS in R of16?

With a score of 21-12, 21-8 in 36m! This is overpowering.
LCW must have fully recovered and this is a concrete warning to his opponents! ;)

Unfortunately I did not stay up late to watch the match. Surprised that this match was not reported here earlier. LCW's fans must have been keeping tight lips but praying silently that he will continue to fight well. :D

I wonder whether Parupalli can do better than SS in today's QF? :)

I hope this is true, no disrespect to PG(my fav player), but I am hoping for another WC11 like final ... that was one of the best matches I have ever seen.

This is a critical time for both LCW and LD.

LCW will fight hard for the first Olympic gold for MAS while LD wants to make it a record back-to-back MS Olympic gold.

Still we have to wait for the final moments.

So far no upsets yet to the top seeds. But this QF and later the SF will be tensely watched.

    What is your prediction?

Now is already the last -8... so i think every player will go all out and play the match of the life in order to 'survive'... and that includes lcw vs kasyap match:)
