XXF and KKK are among the most fashionable badminton players...Zhang Ning is so too...good to see that...badminton needs some better fashion sense

Haven't had much time to follow badminton.
Just learnt yesterday of Sayaka's injury in her match against Tine.
Poor girl, she must have been trying too hard.
    Hope she gets well soon.

My best wishes to her! I know that she'll come back even stronger after recovery!

BTW: Any news about Wang Xin's injury?

    Some photos from Aug. 4th..

    ..some photos to share..

Re Wang Xin's injury, apparently prior to her going down when the score was @ 20, she had already requested to the umpire to have the floor moppers mopped a few wet spots on the floor, but for some reason to no avail. Also if i recall, she did pre-injured her knee as well prior to her falling down.
When she fell down, LYB apparently was quite adamant with the umpire..and after the score was 0-1 in the 2nd game, LYB called ZN to call off the match..

I feel bad for WYH. I hope she has the staying power like Zhang Ning to come back 4 years later. But the CHN team has so many talented WS, especially LXR who will still be around for some time yet.

    Last few photos..

    ..here are the last ones..
The CHN team hung around @ the end after the festivities and took photos together inside the stadium..

Was told LD had to take a doping test & waited abt 1 hr to get his urine sample; FHF abt 2 hrs & CY had to wait abt 3 hrs even after taking multiple liquid as he was dehydrated..
