Earlier, GC said the WS Final was one of the best matches she had ever seen. For those who missed it, I suggest you watch the replay.

Indeed, nice to see all medalists are embracing each other.

Maybe a sign for what is to come, a turning point I hope.

She has won all the major titles available to her similarly to Lin Dan.

To make her ending much sweeter, she only needs to win two more major titles.

    World Championship from Women's Double
    Asian Games from Mixed Double

She will be the first player from either *** to win all the major titles in two different categories.

She should play singles as well :p

Congratulations to Li Xuerui, Tian Qing and Zhao Yunlei!

Cheers to Wang Yihan, Fujii Mizuki and Kakiiwa Reika as well as Saina Nehwal, Wang Xin, Valeria Sorokina and Nina Vislova for the great fight!

Please, don't let this injury spell the end for a great fighter, Wang Xin. All the best to Wang Xin. For those who jeered Wang Xin for her injury, I must say that you all are heartless beings who do not understand that injuries are the ones who rob athletes of glory. You all must have been laughing at Lee Chong Wei just several months ago, huh? Or do they only laugh at China athletes?

Probably the last time i see Wang Xin playing.

Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian have to work hard to gain favours from the coaches now that Li Xuerui has taken all the spotlight.

I reckon for her age, she is too young to enjoy this much success. Hopefully it doesnt back fire her.

Nothing to take away from SN and Wang Xin match today but in the first game SN started quite well get to an early lead and suddenly was making too many errors, the bad judgements were far too many on the same side of the court if it was the drift she would have known by the first time(my guess) :) Frankly with the way she played It was looking like she was playing to lose... for not any obvious reason may be the nerves, fatigue or pressure was on her, But then she seemed to have lift up the game by the end and was seemingly looking like she would take it in 3 and suddenly Wang Xin got injured... getting booed and calling for a probe here... But fans must realize this happens in a game, the consistency we expect from the players, the way it seems to one in the gallery is different from the way same thing is when in the centre of the court with that much of expectations, pressure, fatigue and nerves getting on to you. Understand, these players too are human...!!

LXR ripped off WYH of her position as CHN best bet, she"ld be crowned best WS that means much more oppurtunities to win SS and premiers in CHN if they face other CHN players...
Also, LXR exposed WYH totally... in the last 4 games against her for other players to follow suit ;) These are enough reasons for WYH to be pissed off already right now...

I'm really heartbroken for WYH as she's my favourite player ever. :( I knew from the start that LXR would win the OG if she got on the team. She has looked frighteningly good this year - I'm not an expert, but to me it looks like she now has absolutely no flaws in her game. WYH was employing all the tactics she's known for, but she just couldn't penetrate. Since their very first match this year, I've marvelled at how thoroughly LXR has managed to root out the deficiencies in WYH's play.

I'm really afraid that WYH will retire in sadness after such disappointment. :( And to think that she worked so hard to claw her way back up to the top ranks, too!

I'm a big Saina fan, but to me it's obvious that WX would have beaten her in 2 straight games had WX not gotten injured. I think a big reason why Saina was able to make up some ground in the 1st game when WX was near game point was because WX already was feeling ill at ease, and whatever it was that she suffered on court near the end only aggravated what she was already experiencing and that made it impossible for her to continue. WX has not looked fit and healthy throughout this entire tournament.

I was rooting for Saina, but skills-wise it became very apparent that WX was far above her as the 1st game progressed.

Sad to see WYH on the podium trying to fight her tears :(. This is going to be one gruesome night for her. I hope she picks herself up after this terrible loss.
