Pjswift, you are the worst troll of them all:

Why don't you praise both players for the way they played today?

I'm not so sure that LD didn't replicate his form from Beijing 2008. LD won the WC, All England, and Thomas Cup over the last year. LD is in the best form ever.

The difference is, LCW today is much better than LCW from 4 years ago. LCW made the match alot closer for LD, not because of LD's form, but because of LCW's improved form.

IMHO, i think LCW also had that form 4 yrs ago from the technique point of view. just that this time, he is much more mentally prepared.

i would agree with this. LCW definitely raised his level. In fact, I think it was probably the best performance of his career!!

Yes, this is the best I have seen LCW play. For instance, LCW practically hit all his smashes in. LCW's smash defense was on another level that I have never seen. Well played by LCW.

Yup, it was probably one of the toughest matches for LD in his career. I've seen LD play lazy and make a match look alot closer than it should have been - but LD was all out today. Any less and LD would have lost.

Dont think so, LCW said during 2012 AE that he will continue another year or 2, until 2014 AG.
One is due to contract obligations with sponsors, another is he wanted to give 2013 WC another go.
No retirement news on LCW's official twitter and FB
