Hypothetically: Adcock/White --> Win Qualification 3, On wednesday meet: Ma Jin/ Xu Chen (seeded 1) Smith/White --> Win Qualification 2, On Wednesday meet: Ma Jin/Tang Jinhua (seeded 5) Ouseph --> Win Qualification 1, On Wednesday meet Dionysuis Rumbaka...might have a chance It's unlikey but maybe some of the other pairs will get through qualification. Even if they do I don't think they will be strong enough to do beat anyone in the main draw. Edit: I'm not convinced that even those two pairs and Ousepth will all make it through the qualification draw.
Adcock/Ellis have Koo and Tan (seeded 2). During and since the olympics Koo/Tan have been playing for their survival, the days of them mucking around appear to be gone. They have to deliver results this year or they will be split up. Yeh Adcock/Ellis have a chance...but lets be realistic, there's a huge class difference. Adcock/Ellis won't be able to win once the points progress to rallies, they need 3 shot rallies + their normal time wasting/rhythm spoiling tactics. Langridge/Mills have Maneepong/(some other thai guy I've not heard of but will probably be depressingly good). When Maneepong played with Bodin, they were streets ahead of Langridge and Mills. There's always a chance...but unfortunately I'm not expecting much

When Robertson/Wallwork played Adcock/Bankier at the European championships they employed the tactic of constantly flick serving Bankier. It seemed to really expose Bankier and she seemed quite weak when she was pushed to the rearcourt. Judging by the utter hammering she just handed out to her English opponents I think she must have improved this part of her game. As far as I recall she didn't play ladies doubles when part of the English setup, perhaps it's something she wanted to do (either for enjoyment or improvement) and contributed to her leaving?
She next meets Jamie Subandhi who progressed when Nicole Grether retired. Will Jamie stop Michelle? I think, neigh!
