Maybe you be kind to forgive MAS forgot the 5 wildcards in 2007. Those 5 wildcard thingies are like 'filling the supporting cast' similar to war movies where the director needs to find supporting actors to die first in the opening scene of a movie:D, bridesmaids, first round warmup spanking partners, sacrificial lambs, and more appropriately, easy forgetables first round KO, that's right forgetables...so when so many BCers forgot this 5 wild thingie, we can't expect BAM to remember, they simply also forgot lah:p

LCW response is a spontaneous reaction, I think he regrets saying it now. What he objects saying about LD given wild card, that is not going to change the outcome anyway. It is just LCW feels that CL is a major obstacle to his first WC, and now with LD in, that is even harder. Add to that he could meet LD in the early rounds. And next year and next, winning WC gets even harder and he is running out of time to do it before he packs it in. On another note, I do agree LD should be in.

OTB, badminton without LD and LCW meeting whether first round or last round is no badminton at all :D

Aiya, honestly, I completely forgot/missed MAS had 5 wild thingies in 07WC, that was because I did not check QR and 1st round in microscopic detail like you do;), so when these 2 early rounds are cooked, MAS 5 wild cards had long disappeared. I do not mean to be mean lah.:D
CHN asking for 1 wild thingie for LD is because this wild kid is dangerously wild, and that is the real big problem...now who wanna play this wild chap in the early round?;)

CW spoke to media today again saying that it is not fair for China to have 4 players in WC due to wild card.

This is disgusting when recalling Malaysia did enjoy the same privilege of having 4 MS players by wild card in 2007 WC.

Someone should remind him so that CW will not keep talking something of double standard like this. It makes him look like stupid.

Just that LCW's stupid comments revealed he lacks the manner of a real champion...

Why said so many stupid comments? Just keep mouth shut, train harder and show your colour on court!!!

I would say he was shocked, 8 months and still get a wild card?

And he forgot everything then out came those words ...

i wonder if there is anything thats keeping him like a 'pressured man'?

Or was his mindset already tuned to one down, one to go for quite sometime? :D

Lee prolly regret saying it...I am with you that he was thinking LD out and concentrate on CL and CL playing as CHN top gun, never know how he would play under huge pressure at home. He is human, if it was I, I prolly said worst thingie F&^%$$#:D
The draw would tell a better picture, let's see.;)

Hahaha anyway don't think draw would make any difference imo

CL and LD in same half i will switch off the tv :D

If CW still play the same game same pace nothing different, really

but nonetheless, its always the best match to watch in badminton :)

    'Chong Wei is my idol'

By K.M. BOOPATHY AND AJITPAL SINGH

    http://www.nst.com.my/sports/badminton/chong-wei-is-my-idol-1.282271

    Excerpts:
"I admire Chong Wei's attitude on court. He does not fear his opponents. I adopted his philosophy and have become more confident on court," said Chen Long, the World No 2, at Putra Stadium yesterday.

"As a player, I still have a lot to learn from others. Chong Wei is mentally strong and this is the one thing I must do to become a good shuttler."

I believe he has changed to be a humble person now. Can see from his recent performance. But LCW isnt that great either, not apologising when the shuttle hit the tape n topple to the other side instead, staring at opponents, not willing to congratulate opponent when he loses, not willing to shake hand for more than 1second also. Not that I blame him, he was sad and dejected about the lost but he should understands that feeling when he wins. He will hold opponents hand n keep talking, knowing they might probably be like him, sad n dejected and didnt want to talk. After his recent interview about the wild card entry, I'm dissapointed with him, but not to the point that I'll stop shouting n cheering for him yet! :D:D He is still a respectable player n idol.

lets see along the road for CL whether he's a changed man

or still relying on fixed up speech lol.

as for CW, he shouldn't show his sad face :)

To name just two BA, China and Denmark they do have the best training team in the world :)

But this however, does not mean that every player will be all well trained

    including court discipline etc etc.

it depends a lot on the individual player himself or herself

e.g. how emotional he or she can get over a simple line call :D
