Eva Lee herself could have beaten the two Swedes alone - such is her superiority and speed. Swedish girls cannot match her energy, or maybe they were afraid if they would get another shuttle whack to the head.

Time now for the last match of the nite, the tie decider between THA and HK.

Lee Chun Hei is the reigning Boy's Doubles champion in World Junior Championships 2012. He needs a better partner than Chau Hoi Wah.

And yet he was the one who made that critical error that alllowed the Thais to snatch game 1. Now it's an uphill climb.

The line-up for INA vs IND is out. The coaches decide to rest Mohd Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan and Tommy Sugiarto.

INA will rely on MD, XD and either MS or WD to deliver the points and a QF spot.

I will attribute it to his inexperience...considering this is his first major team event after graduating to the senior circuit :p

I have always liked Lee Chun Hei as I mentioned in other threads :) He will have a good future in XD and MD (if they can convince Ng Ka Long to focus on MD and not MS).

I must say the youngster plays almost similar styles as Korean men's doubles players.

But now, it's the business end of the deal.

Sudket is feeling the pace - his ageing body can't keep up.

and the veteran Thai pair wraps it up 24-22, 22-20!

HKG could have won this tie 3-2! Unbelievable really...

Finally Thais nick it - to the disappointment of most of the remaining crowd. Would have loved to see a rubber.
