By the looks of it Malaysia would prefer one of Korea/Japan in the QF. What are your opinions on this? I know a thing or two about their MS/MD but not really the rest. 2 points from MS & MD is possible from Japan though. Winners Korea Japan China Taiwan Second-Placed Thailand Malaysia Denmark Indonesia

Juliane Schenk not playing gave MAS a huge advantage. . .

If, and if CPS/GLY cracks (they just lost game 1)
    GVS/LKW will crack
    Vivian/WKW will crack
    TJY will crack
Welcome to boleh land where the players are not trained to play under pressure

Germany will win 4-1 if CPS/GLY loses, if not I still think MAS can pull through 3-2.

How much of a surprise is it to see GVS/LKW getting picked? HTH/TWK are higher ranked and has a better head-to-head record against Germany's MD.

GVS/LKW didn't crack after all, even from 17-20 down. LKW almost cracked though, serving in the net at 20-all but fortunately it wasn't during 17-20, 18-20 or 19-20.

I am expecting TJY to lose easily to Olga Konon, which leaves the WD match which is 50-50. But with all the expectations placed on the Malaysian players, I have a nasty feeling that our WD will crack.

TJY got her points mostly from OK's mistakes.

Malaysia knocked out in the group stage of the Sudirman Cup

Who is to be blamed? Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong? Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying? Sonia/Tee Jing Yi/Vivian Hoo/Woon Khe Wei?

Or is it the coaches and officials in BAM?

Looks like my original prediction is wrong, but the 'back-up' prediction of CPS/GLY losing came true. For my 2nd prediction, mainly I didn't expect GVS/LKW to really win although I was hoping that they would. WD did let me down though
